Yeh - it all points to him being out of his depth. Seemed a nice enough guy at the start of it all, but I see a future a la AVB in some far flung league and then retirement for him next.Think Ange recommend both Johnson and werner to board and Tel. Underwhelmed with all 3 tbh. But a developer coach could get more out of Tel and johnson imo. Werner is simply shit, Tel is very raw and johnson has no trickery in his armoury. Negligence imo by coaching staff not adding trickery to johnsons game as has a goal in him but fuck all skill.
Who asked him to lose a game? He needs to report that to the powers-that-be as that sounds like gambling malfeasance.
Or is he just holding a grudge because he never really understood how the history of the club works? It wouldn’t have been hard for him to come out last year and talk about understanding the history and rivalry and then still talking about wanting to instill a winning mentality.
He can’t cope with being criticised. Not an issue as long as there’s nothing to criticise.
I just think as his tenure has panned out hes been fixed in his mind that his methods, tactics and coaching works but the step up to the premier league is way too advanced for him. Imo grouchy at press conferences as defending himself but hes not upto scratch at this level. If he wins europa he can sign off with club as a legacy but it's not enough to give him more time with us. He has to go in the summer.Yeh - it all points to him being out of his depth. c'mon man..that's just the sound bite/mantra. Most people have seen that the 'system' doesn't work. Without fear of making mistakes.. Timo Werner was thrown under the bus in a press conference. Not sure if I have heard something like that before from a manager in a press conference .. regardless of what the public says about the player. It's a low bar in my opinion. That comes from him allowing the players to play without fear of making mistakes, to build their confidence, playing with postivity. If the players then take that to mean they can fuck about without consequences then that 's on them.
I wish Poch anybody else- bar the likes of Guardiola or Ancelotti good luck in "toughening" this lot up.
I know that - it’s the ‘asking him to lose a game’. He’s blaming the fans again for his mistake in not understanding the rivalry.I think he means the City game that if we'd won might have given Arse the league.
He’s changed the perception for sure. Now every single club in every tier of every league knows they can counter-attack down our right side.
For Ange’s clarity - yes, his tenure (certainly this season) has been a ‘disaster’. If we squeak to a Europa win that will save it a little bit, but right now, it’s an absolute shocker.I love it!!
Cry more even.
He clearly wants to stay but is pretending he does not want to stay lol.
It is clearly hurting him that no matter what trophy he wins, it's a wrap.
The Pussyhole (TM) is now getting in his excuses before the Liverpool game.
Look at this shit;
" I love the frenzy around finishing fifth but it's not a good story, the better story is that my tenure has been a disaster. Why is it a disaster we finished fifth? "
Yeah keep crying, Australian prick. And he does... as he goes on to throw a bigger wibble but, as always, in that inherently dishonest way of his:
" I think there is a narrative that this club has been on some sort of downward spiral again.. Whereas I think this is totally different and there has been very little acknowledgement of that "
The fuck??!?
Aussie scum.
Absolute filth.
You have lost almost 20 games, are Dr Tottenham personified and you think all of this is a "narrative" ?!?
Of course Baldy, whose name is being bismicrhed by allowing this cuckery , just sits there with a death grimace pretending it's a smile like a cuck hubby seeing his sweetheart getting stroked...without a condom too just for fun.
YID Army? More like a THOT Army...
What do you imagine the perception of this club is? With or without Ange?
Because I can tell you from living abroad and speaking to people who don’t even watch the PL but see the internet narratives, they don’t perceive that we are all-conquering, mighty Tottenham Hotspur
And tbf winning the EL would do more to fix that than finishing 4th in the PL
Fuck offIt's about long term vision and building a successful team.
The other team cannot score if you have the ball.
Spurs have been repeatedly let down by individual errors, and inexperienced players have been exposed.
The quality of the squad is poor.
Ange's ship has sailed. We look set to lose Bentencuar, Romero and Porro in the summer; and Barca's scouts are watching Bergvall. City want Madison and Kulu is wanted in Italy. Dragusin has wanted out for quite some time, and Sarr is admired in Spain.
How do expect the next coach to perform?
Season after season we have a squad that doesn't match fans expectations....and every time we call for the head of the coach.
None of them start for City or Liverpool...heck, even for our cunty neighbours.Agreed. Some real BS here about how bad the squad is.
Vicario
Romero
Spence
VdV
Maddison
Bergvall
Kulusevski
Odobert
Would make be in any team in the league's squad of 25.
They are down because they are poorly led.
You have to allow for them being out of form. For what it's worth I think VdV on form (fit) gets into any starting 11 in the league. He offers something no other CB in the league has. I also think Romero on form is close. As are Kulu and Spence.
The others are all squad quality players for Dippers or Woolwich, true. I do think Odobert would make make any squad. Huge potential and young. Teams need and want a few like him.
I do agree that we are short of 3-4 elite level players to be a title challenging squad (with a good coach). And unsurprisingly, the wage bill cost of that ... about £30-50m pa, is about how much less we pay pa than Woolwhich!
A lot of what Ange has said is correct. The club are taken for a laughing stock all the time, regardless of finishing 4th or 16th. We’re constantly bantered about trophies, despite being one of the most successful in England. Pundits like Carragher constantly talk us down and other media companies just accept it.
He might have let us down this season in the league, but he does genuinely want the club to be successful and want the media to stop the narrative they have.
Ange the manager and Ange the man are two separate things, and the man speaks a lot of sense about the state of the game, the club and the future.
Internet narratives? Inspector Posteclouseau will get to the bottom of the not winning perception with the people living abroad things let me tell you.
nah. I can't help you.
These people need to know the history we already signed Ben Thatcher he was 100% satanic he was the Thatcher made Margaret feel good about herself at family reunions....Today's hilarious defence of Ange courtesy of a random redditor:
"If we get rid of Ange we can no longer have a no wrong'uns principle in player recruitment."
Apparently if we let Ange go we are going to sign the Anti-Christ to play fullback.
