One of these days someone is gonna get an absolute hiding off us

There was also another moment in that game that was a lovely passing move. Second half, pass into the box was flicked into the path of someone (I cant remember who) crossed it first time and Johnson (I think) was inches away when sliding in. Would have been a great goal.

The moment it clicks is going to be glorious.

You're going to see the defeat on the face of the opponents who know they can't do anything to stop it. Almost as if they'd have given the game up mid way through the first half. A bit like when for those months during 2017 when teams came to White Hart Lane and were beaten before the ball was even kicked.

We might have to wait until we're at full strength again but it's so promising to see us play some great and exciting football with our substitute players.

That was on Hojberg for taking an extra touch that he didn't need.

Ange even said it in the press conference. Maddison plays that pass first touch. Bentancur as well.

Not IMO. Son knows it’s Hojbjerg. He also doesn’t need to rush his run with his pace in that scenario. He has the pace. And he’s also been offside plenty with Maddison playing too and Kane/Erikson before them.

Really clever strikers know how to stay onside better. It’s a cognitive thing. It’s one of the reasons he’s never been a regular 20 goal guy.

It's between the two of them I can meet you halfway on that.

Then again, we are missing the context of what they work on when they practice these moves on the training ground. Teaching point could be to look for 1 touch passes whenever they can....

Ange definitely mentioned passes not being quick enough when asked about Son being offside. Could be he's defending his striker, could be he thinks that Hoj pass should have gone sooner.

Okay this post should probably be in media bias but I can’t find the thread….
Sick already of moany cunts saying we should be more pragmatic and defensive ( no doubt the same people who wanted Jose and conte out because we were boring.)
We are playing with a patchwork side of fringe players and cast offs and they still will go through walls for him. Ten Haag can’t even get that out god first eleven ,So fucking what if we get a thumping today… we will be better for it in the long run.
Why also are idiots like Merson given airtime. What would he know about resolve and getting through a tough time, he’s a gone for the coke and a bottle of JD by now. Media wanting a story that ange is under pressure…..95 %!+of spurs fans are behind ange. He just needs a few players and some time. If we lost ten games a season like the villa game… so what, better than grinding a 1-1! Rant over

Even if PEH could have played it first time, Son still doesn’t need to be offsides there. The line is high enough that he has plenty of space to get in behind even if he doesn’t start his run until the ball is played.

When you are trying to break the line against a parked bus, you have to gamble and risk offsides because there’s less space in between the defenders and goalkeeper.

At midfield, you don’t have to take that gamble.

His body orientation is already facing forwards, it's extremely difficult to change your body shape and put yourself back onside especially since we moved the ball at ridiculous pace - we would have practiced that time and time again, you can see it's an automated move...criticising Son for being offside there is just doing too much, the ball should have been played first time.

It's all bullshit.

Scumbag pundits know he's a top manager and want him out of our club.

They saw how 🔥 we started with a solid 11 (just after a few month) and have seen how we can play with just a B Team.

They don't want that full Ange heat, down the road.

And know we'll be a real threat when he fills his squad and we can cover injuries and suspensions.

'Oh, oh, we really care about spurs and just wish he would be a bit more pragmatic and careful in his approach'.

Yeah, fuck off.

These bastards know what time it is, with this guy, and will push this dogshit narrative to split the fans and cause cracks.

Any idiot fans falling for it, need their soft heads checked.

Scream like babies for muh exciting football, get it in bucket loads and then roll around crying, "No! Not Like That!!!" 😭

Waxwork muppets.

Everyone stfu and get behind this absolute G of a manager.

The future is bright. 😎

Serious question

Given the player crisis we have. How many losses will fans accept while we go out and "play our football no matter what" ?

4? 5? 10?

My expectations have been lowered given the situation we find ourselves in recently.

Things won’t be this bad for the whole season, come the new year when we start getting players back, things should start to look brighter again

Let Ange cook.

We will reap well for it, down the road.

Give him this season to do what he wants.

It's fucked, anyway.

Decimated by injuries/suspensions (and that will continue).

Everyone just enjoy the exciting football they screamed for.

It's here!

Now can all stfu and enjoy it.

I, for one, don't want to see us play Pragmatic Ball, blocking up with a dodgy second string,

Bin that.

Let Ange instil his ETHOS.

Whatever the weather.

Then when we are strong we'll be able to weather any storm.

It's very important for people to grow tf up, here, and not spoil a good thing, after crying so long for it.

Id be happy to lose ten thrillers … let’s face it we aren’t winning a league this season, so now is the time to adapt. Would rather an fa cup then top 6 . If we had that choice

I’d imagine until West Ham. Lose that one and questions might get asked.

Every single West Ham fan I know says they are absolutely shite this season.
That is a must win as basically only possibly 2 players missing in mvv and MADDs if Sarr is fit. The forward line is basically first choice. So we need to win it. Yes missing mvv and MADDs is a big loss but that is when the coach earns his money.

You'd be happy to see your team lose 10 in a row ??

Nah this has reached cult levels

Simply needs a break and for the rot to end.

Been dealt a sh!t hand but is fine.

But there is never endless sympathy, so after today we need players back and a change tp the results.

Biggest issue is that we only seem to wim or lose and it's been that way far before Potecoglou but....

This isn't a serious question.

No-one in here is happy about losses. A lot of us can just see context and aren't wetting our knickers about a dodgy run.

Wolves aside, we've played pretty well with our backup players during an unprecedented injury crisis. The situation will improve and the results will improve.

If this situation happens next season or the season after, we'd manage a lot better.
