There’s nothing in there that states a cm2, just that he was looking forward to seeing Bissouma and Bentancur in the same midfield. Could well be suggesting Bissouma 6, and Bentancur as the 8 like last night, with Maddison in his usual 8 remit.

GK- Peak Lloris (just!).

RB - Porro - as full backs in Ange’s system need to be midfielders as they invert I think Porro better fits than Walker.

CB - Toby: only just over Romero as he is calmer when needed and before his legs went had great pace to cover.

CB - Verts: love VDV but Verts is the best all round CB of recent years at the club. He was also smart enough to play high line comfortably.

LB: Udogie: Rose was great but Udogie is exceptional.

DM: Dembele: easy.

CM: Bentancur: easy.

AM: Maddison: Eriksen was class but Maddison is just better all round. Maddison can do everything Eriksen can but is far better in tight spaces and under pressure.

RW: Kulusevski: difficult as Lamela was good, Dele isn’t a RW nor is Eriksen in this system.

LW: Son.

ST: Kane.

Xavi at 4 th is.....interesting. His first pro-managing gig was with Al Saad in the Qatari league. His second was Barcelona. No-one gets that sort of career progression without connections.

Currently 4th behind Girona with a budget of 60 million Euro and rumors are his players are turning on him already.

And supposedyl he's 4th best manager in the world? Gimme a break.

I agree, but is it not based on 2023, so includes him winning the league with a lot of youth players?

I just love it and we are still well away from it functioning at the level Ange wants. When we do get there we will be the team to beat. The recruitment side of things is definitely going in the right direction and we look like there is a long term plan in place from top to bottom of the club now.
There’s so many levy haters out there but he’s got the club going in the right direction whether people like it or not.

All good, with the exceptin of Lamela being a difficult decision. A lot of the time he wasn't ever a starter. Not a good scoring record in PL at all. Bench at best imo.
