Heard this morning - and apologies if it’s been mentioned on here already, but I can’t be arsed going through all the pages - that his payoff is significantly larger if he’s sacked whilst in a cup competition. Source works in football, but not for us, so not sure how good this info is.Or we are too cheap to pay him off?
It’s something to do with money or the club being sold, because it’s nothing to do with what’s going on on the pitch. Can’t be or else he’d be gone. Think about it for a minute. Given levy’s history of sacking managers there’s no way he’s keeping him in the job unless something else is in play.
I cant see it. He's witnessing our worst form in 50 years, seeing players getting constantly injured and losing their value, tickets being harder to shift, derision from the fans and a chunk of the media (all well deserved) and unlike Redknapp in January 2009 he hasnt backed him. Its down to money and timing.
This is proper tin-foil hat now, but imagine if Levy has planned for this to happen so ENIC sells up - only for him to buy their shares?
We all know the rich can never fulfil their greed and if he owns more shares, that’s more money in the pocket directly.
In Australia Postecoglou did media and some motivational speaking. He knows how to play to an audience. I believe he talked himself into a job he wasn't qualified for and now is being maintained in that job because of the fan base he cultivated. From a football standpoint, his system is a mess. The problem for Levy and the board is admitting (first off to themselves) they hired an unqualified manager. Their next problem is how to get rid of someone who has established a cult of personality with a significant portion of the fan base. We're stuck with this guy.It shouldn't even get that far. Why does he "deserve" these cup games? The league is your bread and butter - the results have been beyond bad for months now. You have to play the same standard of team at the end of these competitions, and we've proven that we can't deal with ANY opposition. I don't understand how he's been given such a soft ride by a section of the fan base and leadership, I really don't.
Believable. Levy would rather write off a season than pay a few mill more in compensation. Bet he didnt think we'd be in a relegation fight though.Heard this morning - and apologies if it’s been mentioned on here already, but I can’t be arsed going through all the pages - that his payoff is significantly larger if he’s sacked whilst in a cup competition. And he didn’t just say “significantly”, he said “SIGNIFICANTLY’.
He's proven for decades he doesn't known his arse from his elbow. He probably genuinely believes everything will be OK when a few players come back.I cant see it. Agreed. It's odd. None of the usual suspects have come out with similar, which always happens when the usual suspects have been briefed. But there's not been anything.
Also it looks like gold tweeted at 6am so he must have received his info early morning or late last night. I wonder if he's gone early and his info is now out of date.
The BBC include in their reports what the Sky commentary team and pundits said. That’s how execrable their coverage is.FFS - the level of journalism at that "good old boys" BBC club is Talkshite levels of Shite.

Synchronously, our team look very similar to Super Pav, confused and not understanding the coach.
Hence Harry’s “Just run around a bit”… so now, and how we could do with the equivalent of him right now (or Defoe etc who Levy signed that January Window..).
They said he will be present, they didn't say he would still be manager!
Poch used to struggle to make timely substitutions too but people forget about that.
How much will relegation cost in comparison - sack the fat fuck nowHeard this morning - and apologies if it’s been mentioned on here already, but I can’t be arsed going through all the pages - that his payoff is significantly larger if he’s sacked whilst in a cup competition. Yeah but in pretty much every other respect Poch was LEAGUES above Ange, even comparing them is laughable at this stage.Poch used to struggle to make timely substitutions too but people forget about that.
