We are 9 points behind with a game in hand. If we win the game in hand and beat Villa in May that is only 3 points.
Getting top half is not a Herculean task.
It is when we are fucking shit mate.

I recall Vicario making quite a few point blank amazing saves during that period. So it seems that we don't count the wins at the beginning of last season; all of our wins were against "only" sides, and those games we actually did win we should have lost because our opponents were unlucky not to have scored?

We’re likely to the lowest finish in about 20 years, in 07/08 we still finished 8th after being BOTTOM after 8 games, but yeah, the Australian clown is building something special.
Fucking glad we threw that game against Man City just to rest a few players. They're going to be knackered with the schedule this month!

I think posters such as „AussieSpurs“, „AngePostespur“, „NZAUSTasmaniaHotspur“, „AussieOzAustraliaSydneySpur“ or „Whittlesea Zebra diehard“ will be more optimistic.Gotta love you guys talking about winning the Europa. You must have been watching a different team all season. No chance in hell of it happening with this lot.

Not a dig at fans from Australia/New Zealand at all. Just please accept that this farthead shouldnt be anywhere near a PL club.

Hence why I said "in about 20 years"? But I wouldn’t be sure we’ll finish 11th or higher anyway. We finished 11th in 07/08.
Where are you getting your facts from??
08/09 was Harry Redknapps first season here.
That the assist stats unimportant...that's probably paraphrasing...but the message is clear..
Got to be some sort of joke rightWhether Ange is around for another 6 days or 6 years, nobody can deny what he has done for the club. I actually think he’s already been a success in a different way.
He’s come in and lost the best player in the clubs history. He’s inherited an ageing jaded squad and cleared out the deadwood. He’s developed Archie Gray and Bergvall who both look like they could be come elite players. He’s getting the best out of DJed Spence when no one else could. He’s changed the mentality on and off the pitch. He’s changed the football on the pitch. He keeps talking about winning trophies and whilst he may never win anything, at least he’s talking about it. Other managers just wanted to finish top 4.
The thing is, whoever comes next will just need to put the roof on and furnish the house after Ange demolished the junk, poured the concrete and laid the bricks…
How about stiff like not being so wide open? How about Johnson being a shite winger who Ange wanted for £50M?![]()
Ange Postecoglou reveals exciting thing Tottenham will reap rewards for next season
Ange Postecoglou says Tottenham might not be feeling the benefits yet, but they will reap one particular reward in the future.www.spurs-web.com
Ange Postecoglou reacts to fielding youngest-ever Spurs team
On Wednesday in the clash against Manchester City, Postecoglou’s faith in his young players was on full display as he named the youngest starting XI of his managerial career since moving to north London.
The team also ranked as the second youngest in Tottenham’s Premier League history.
Speaking after being made aware of the record, the Spurs boss reflected on the positives, despite the team’s current struggles.
He said as relayed by the official Tottenham Hotspur website: “There are definitely positives, and I think, you know, I keep saying there is enormous growth that we are witnessing before our eyes, even though we are not getting the rewards for it right now,
“It is great for Wilson to get 60 minutes today, and he will benefit enormously from it. Archie and Lucas continue to grow every game, and look, we are disappointed, but like I said, in terms of performance, from my perspective anyway, there is stuff in there where we can say, ‘okay, we are going to take that forward and get to the level we want to’.”
Message wasn’t clear for me. Can you clear it up for me please? That the assist stats unimportant...that's probably paraphrasing...but the message is clear..
Trolling at its finest even Shady would be proud.

Throw in wolvesIt isn't happening. We've got to go to Villa Park, Anfield and the Bridge as well as some tough ones like West Ham & Fulham away.
We are absolutely woeful away in those sort of reasonably tough games, and not even solid at home. Forget it - we might finish 11th or so but that's it.
