It will be great to win a pot and CL money gives Levy less of an excuse for a dry summer. Will be a nice day as long as it is viewed in isolation.I think if the man is living in your head rent free instantly when we've won our first major for 40 off years, it's probably time to go outside.
Proper tinpot. We're not winning it, mate. The whole loser mentality built up around the club means United's name is already on the trophy.
They'll be more up for the fight and more determined to secure CL football whereas Levy will worry about the increased expectations CL football brings with a summer transfer window looming around the corner.
He'll, man....the club has already started celebrating reaching the final as some kind of achievement

Losstacoglou was right there!

But step back and it really is the most extreme example of "papering over the cracks" I can think of.
The club is in disarray and there is no goodwill/attachment between fans and the players/staff/owners. If you don't think the wider context has an impact on the enjoyment of the win then you are simply lying.
This will definitely happen, you can already see it forming, football is a game of emotion and it has a way of shutting off logic.I can see a wave of sentiment coming towards Ange from the fans and the media if we win.
Even if the the final is horrendous.
Even if United have 3 players sent off and we win in the last minute after playing with our backs to the wall against 8 men.
There will be a very vociferous crowd asking how we can sack him.
You know why it should happen as well as I do.
But if the noise gets loud enough, I can see Levy caving and giving him next season. At least until it all goes to shit again.

“If you think we would have 20 league defeats if we weren’t in a final I am not really sure how else to explain it.”
Embarrassing.
Is there an excuse this man HASN’T used yet in his attempt to gaslight everyone into thinking it isn’t his fault?
Also, how fucking rude is he? That little fragile ego of his cannot handle this level can it? Fair play to the interviewer because she didn’t back down.
I've noticed that he's gone from blaming the poor league form on injuries to blaming it on reaching a semi final and a final in two cup competitions. This will definitely happen, you can already see it forming, football is a game of emotion and it has a way of shutting off logic.
That being said, even if it DOES happen, I think he will only last a month because the poor results in the league will continue imo.
Truthfully, I don’t even think Ange will want to stick around. He knows the smart play is to bow out with a trophy in hand while his stock’s artificially inflated “I won silverware at Spurs” is the kind of line that opens doors elsewhere.
It’s a great headline for his CV, even if it flatters to deceive when it comes to his actual ability as a manager at this level.
There is 0 reason to keep him on next season even with an EL win. This will definitely happen, you can already see it forming, football is a game of emotion and it has a way of shutting off logic.

Conte was knocked out of the conference league in the group stage by Rennes, Mura and Vitesse. They weren’t so strong. Many Factors why Spurs have got to the Europa final and it has nothing to do with Ange. It's the level of opponent faced. The EPL is an elite league where the competition is fierce and even the Ipswich's of this world can beat anyone. Take a look at the 2 finalists, both Man Utd and Tottenham are sitting 16th and 17th in the EPL. The competition isn't as competitive hence 2 god awful teams in the final. As for Postecoglu he is done here and doesn't deserve any credit for the season he has put us as supporters through - There's a reason Ange will be remembered as one of the worst managers Tottenham have ever had.
To be clear, i would like to see him replaced, but that’s purely on the standard of play and results.People get too emotional about another grown man. You can see that his time is up but not have this weird irrational hatred of someone that’s always defended the club.

I do wonder what I’ve missed though. Lots on here calling him a cunt, vile, horrible, etc. What specifically has he done to be called those things? Can’t just be he’s a manager who’s failed. Must be something else to use such language to describe the man. What, specifically, has he done to deserve being described like this?
At least I’m not alone in thinking he’s just not very good, but not the devil either. The only thing he’s done is the City game saying he wanted to win, which any manager would… and should.
Then he’s been thin-skinned with fans filming him for a reaction.
None of that makes him a vile, fat cunt…
