A cunt off after winning a majority trophy is ultra peak TFC.

Reaching a CL Final is a tougher job to do, but it is not a bigger achievement.
I'd say the Div One league title is bigger to be fair. But second biggest, yes. For sure. We’ve won the biggest trophy we’ve ever won in the club’s history.
Granted for the third time, but still the first time in 40 years.
We’ve had better teams that didn’t win anything this big but as the scum are finding out today, you don’t get trophies for being the better team.
Just enjoy it. We’ve been laughed at for not winning shit, who gives a fuck what people think about us when we have won something
Bollox..I'm absolutely biased, but think it would be arguably the worst decision the club has made in a while to let him go.
Yes, the league season has been atrocious, but if (which I believe to be true) Ange did throw it all at the Europa from January onwards due to injuries and a lack of the signings he wanted, then he's done a spectacular job. For me - his legacy overshadows Poch, from the pure pedigree of what he has won. Poch's football was brilliant to watch, but we never got over the line. Ange has gotten us over the line in a major European competition with a worse squad than Poch had. You can make all the arguments of "if he focused on cups" etc., but the reality is that Poch didn't focus on those cups, and hypotheticals are just that.
Most importantly, Ange has now instilled a belief in this club and players which was fundamentally missing - they are winners. They have been winners. They can be winners.
With fit players, backing in the positions that he needs, he is absolutely the right manager for us going forward.

We beat City and United in our Carabao run and beat Liverpool first leg so is that harder than our EL run?Newcastle beat Liverpool and other good prem teams and Palace beat Man City and Villa. Not comparable.
But anyway, there’s no point in bringing up facts .. I knew what would happen as soon as we won this and I know what’s coming next. Facts for now won’t matter - it’s all about optics.
You have to be trolling. He's just won our first European trophy since 1984 - that's 41 years! The guy rightfully deserves a whole other season of serving us up the same crap football if he pleases - we've just won a major trophy, whether it was done in style or not, is irrelevant - we're European Champions. Enjoy the moment!!!No no no and no, we need a proper manager. This trophy was tottaly out of the blue, we got tô the final playing horrible football in some matches, with a bit of luck and thanks to a very good squad that Ange managed to finish 17th in the Premier. Nothing suggests he deserves another chance, football didn't improve under him since he arrived and we are unwatchable most of the time. Also UCL is a Very different challenge.
Must have been a typo
Some countries do have it, some don't. Some (like Germany) take their Charity Shield thing more seriously. It's ok. It's another pot. I'd like to win it, but would far rather win the EL to that or the FA Cup tbh. Somehow the FA Cup at the new Wembley isn't as special. The League Cup shouldn't even really exist. Other countries don't have it
(I will obviously change my tune if we win it next season)
Oh FFS the celebration police on our own Spurs forum.Newcastle beat Liverpool and other good prem teams and Palace beat Man City and Villa. Not comparable.

Couldn't make it up
Reading this....it's just pathetic. Your football team...has just won a major European trophy for the first time in roughly 41 years....and your main focus is not to celebrate and be joyful....but instead play it down and undermine the achievement. We're basically doing what we laughed at West Ham fans for, tbh. We're not champions of Europe, we're europa league champions.
And no, we didn't. Not one team we beat make it out the CL league stage - this is a fact.
Enjoy the win without making it about how amazing Ange is by pretending we've achieved something we just haven't - it isn't fucking hard. Nice one Ange, now go so we can try to get back to duking it out with Madrid in the CL instead of Bodo Glimt. Sorry.

I thought I had explained my post but will do again
I was simply disagreeing with your point that NO football fan was jealous of us getting to the CL final
Plenty were
I don’t disagree that of course it’s better for Sonny to pick up a winners medal last night than a runners up medal in 2019 but the CL is a far superior tournament
Fuck off, after years of malaise of their own it’s only in the last year or two they’ve started to improve again.Whether you like it or not, Woolwich are still seen as a force in European football (particularly after beating Real M. in both CL games), while Spurs - even after winning the EL - is not seen as an top European club. That's a fact right now.
eufa cup without a doubt, if cant win the league or the CL. the eufa cup has serious history in football. fair enough its been watered down a lot, but its still the same piece of hardware. Some countries do have it, some don't. Some (like Germany) take their Charity Shield thing more seriously. It's ok. It's another pot. I'd like to win it, but would far rather win the EL to that or the FA Cup tbh.
