At last. We have it..

Its the fact that this Fat Cunt from some football backwater with a shit CV, got us up from 8 th to fifth, narrowly missing top 4 and Champions League in hisFIRST season in our glorious Premier League WITHOUT Kane ( worth at least 12 point per season on his own).

But The Fat Cunt didn't stop there.

He navigated the ONLY path left to the Club's stated objective of Champions League qualification, and won us our ONLY trophy ion decades.

This Fat Cunt with nothing but 5 trophies in Scotland, one in the J -League and Four in Australia, was rightly sacked and replaced by a European with Premier League experience that had won nothing, ever and sent the club in a relegation fight.

Did I get it right?

No! But I do like your explanation for it all 😆

5 trophies in Scotland, one in the J -League and Four in Australia doesn't really mean anything in the context of top level football in Europe - see if Man City are scouting Australia or the J-League for their next manager when Pep leaves. Even Scotland isn't much of an endorsement, Steven Gerrad and Neil Lennon were top managers there, you crying out for either of them to take over for us next season?

On top of that, lets be honest, given where we were and the performances in the second half of his first season Ange coming 5th isn't any great shakes. We should have walked getting CL qualification and the drop off and points accumulated during that period was dreadful (maybe he was already focusing on next seasons Europa!).

As other's have said many times, if it's purely down to silverware collected to assess the quality of our managers then I assume your top three are Ange, Ramos and Graham yeah?

Producing consistently good results against top opposition in Europe's top leagues and in particular the Premier League, I would have thought that was obvious.
Not obvious, no, hence me asking.

The managers mentioned would all probably get us back to top six, knocked out in the quarters of the cups. The other would mean mid to lower table, but maybe win something.

Really comes down to what you think is most important. Three challengers, or one winner?

As I say, winner has to have some level of context about the thing being won. Otherwise we have to start considering friendly tournaments and amateur cups in people's CV.

Ange isn't a winner. In fact, before Frank he lost more matches than anyone else who's managed us in the premier league era. Watching us getting embarrassed week after week made it the most depressing season I've seen in the last 40 odd years of supporting us.

I thought it couldn't get worse then this season came along.

So who's CV is better?

Di Zerbi - 1 x Ukrainian cup
Iraola - 1 x Cyrus cup
Poch - 1 x French league, and 2 x domestic cup (Yes, with Messi, Mbappe, Neymar - well done Poch).
Ange - 1 x Europa Leage, Scottish League x 2, Scottish League Cup x 2, Scottish Cup x 1, 5 x Aussie League Champion, 1 x J-League, 5 x domestic Aussie trophies, AFC Asia Cup, 8 x youth club championships
Now do points claimed in a top tier League competition...and no, Scotland doesn't count.

🤡

You very conveniently forget Kane and prime Son.

No I don’t. You still can’t imagine achievements. Pochettino had good players but a CL final and fighting for the league/having spurs consistently a top European side for years is viewed as a better CV than anything Ange has done.

This isn’t my opinion - the jobs Pochettino got reflect this fact. PSG wouldn’t hire Ange if he was the last coach on earth, they’d play without one or promote a first team player.

Ange had Son in one of his most productive seasons BTW.

Shown themselves to be better manager in what ways? Specifically.

Embarrassing.

Like honestly, why do you clowns think Poch was courted by Real Madrid and given the PSG job on the back of his Spurs achievements, while Ange slummed it out at relegation fighting Forest and now can’t buy a job in a top league?

Just think. Use your fucking brains. The actual people at the top of this sport don’t agree with you, the footballing world doesn’t think like you. Only you lot think like this.

Same with Nagelsmann - just getting to a CLsemi and Leipzig doing well in the league got him top level attention. The elite want you to show it against the elite, not the 2nd tier.

He is a winner. Won everywhere he’s been, even with us and we’re a fucking basket case and have been for decades.

As you say, context is required, but you can’t say he’s not a winner when the evidence clearly disputes that. A lot clearer than Iriola doing quite well with Bournemouth, for example.

Didn’t win at Forest, got his high cholesterol ass handed to him. Didn’t win a single thing in England other than the shittiest win % trophy.

Iraola is more of a “winner” in England. Ange hasnt won shit here.
