I've not really looked at the options...and tbh entering into debates and getting told my opinions are wrong ain't exactly top of my pops...

Of those 17 (because you are only allowed 17) who do you drop to take a third left back that is not part of the future plan?

It's an indictment on this fanbase that this players thread hasn't been bumped yet. All too busy pitchforking the manager and club to even think about a KID who was best on ground for us.

What a gem. Midfielder who's been playing right back, left back, and now Centre Back in one of the most hostile stadiums in Europe.

Barely put a foot wrong defensively. Cool, calm - having to constantly deal with Porros poor defending decisions.

Brilliant lad. What a future he has. COYS

Massive massive talent with the attitude to go to the very top.

On tonights showing he'll never make it as a centre back. But he's quite good defending 1v1 so can see him slotting in at full back. Improving his decision making will be important for his development. Seems to choose the wrong option at times.

More game time needed. Some promising signs though.

I don't want him to make it as a centre back. He's too talented a midfield player. What he showed was that he could go to one of the most hostile stadiums in europe, make an early error or two and stand up and be strong for the rest of the game. Hell of a showing in terms of character.

Midfielder in the Michael Carrick style I reckon. He is just manning up when we really need him right now.

I don't like him in the back line at all. I think he's absolutely wasted there and doesn't allow him to be who he really is. However his attitude and effort leaves a lot of so called senior players looking like cunts. The sooner this kid gets played in the middle/attacking positions the sooner we get the best out of him.

The probelm we have is how do we get him into his best position ?
if the team was playing well, with a full/almost squad we could bring him on in lots of matches for 15/20mins he needs to gain experiance, but with this team and manager we don't sit pretty in games

Agree, so many in this fanbase are quick to whine and fail to see many positives at all.

Archie certainly wasn't perfect last night but for 18 I thought he was very good! His all round game is very good. There was a couple of occasions he lost the ball playing out but I liked that he tried this. In the first half Rangers targeted him in the air, only for the rest of the match they went down Dragusin side, says alot really.

Considering Mikey Moore gets the hype he does at 17, Archie Gray plays like a seasoned pro and he so young!

Thought he was really good last night. Playing CB, hostile ground, team not playing well, lots of established players not fit.
Looks composed and reassured on the ball and carries it forward really well with his he'd up looking for a pass.
It if wasn't for the injuries I'd love to see him in midfield this weekend.
