Well guys, have a 160 page thread asking if we're winning the fucking league, when the reality is, half way through the season, 8 points and 5 teams, including West Ham separate us from top, while just 4 points and 4 teams separate us from Villa in 10th

How far we've regressed since our previous manager was shafted is a fucking scandal.

We ain't winning the league guys. We'll finish where we deserve to finish.

Anywhere between 4th-8th. That is due to a very weak premiership & having a few star players bailing us out. Or else be mid table.
I know some think we are moving forward & will win major trophies with enic & levy but really can't see what they are seeing?!

We could FINALLY see if people truly are happy with a League Cup win and a mid table finish over top four and nothing.

How exciting.

The only two nailed-on teams for top 4 are City and Liverpool. United just lost to freaking Sheffield, and we all saw Leicester fold like a cheap suit last season. Chelsea has a ton of talent, but they're on their second manager and haven't gotten their shit together.

Winning the league was always a stretch. Mid-table is alarmist. We're in the mix for top 4, and we have Europa League as another possible route to Champions League next year. That's got to be the goal: missing it two years in a row, combined with Covid screwing our stadium revenues, could really hamstring us.

Easily. If we don't finish top half, we're definitely looking for a new manager this summer.

Looking for a new manager would be a wonderful silver lining.

It's the state of the football as well. Against many teams this season, the odd performance aside, we have stunk the place out. To be so ineffective as well, what's the fucking point?

What when we languished in 14th 20 points off top spot?

Poch needed time and backing. The team was in transition but we weren't in danger of relegation. It was more about Mourinho's availability and Levy's hard on for him that Poch got the sack imo.

No. When he was on his knees begging the club to stop trying to win big titles spending small money...........especially in the light of record breaking revenue and profits......and was rewarded with a year and a half of zero investment and fuck all backing

That's what you call proper, over the table, no lube shafting, mate

8th at best. When Woolwich’s renaissance began after beating Chelsea I said then that they would finish above us - it’s in the DNA of both clubs unfortunately.

City, Utd, Liverpool, Leicester, Chelsea are all better than Spurs. West Ham (yes, West Ham!!), Southampton, Everton, Woolwich, even Villa are capable of putting a run of results together.

We are a one trick pony. Inflexible - in the image of our ‘coach’ - and Stone Age in our approach to style, tactics and ambition.

Most people here and among our wider fan base predicted that the JM experiment would end in tears....it was just a matter of time and whether he was able to pick up a tin pot or two...

Throwing the players under the bus last night and refusing to shoulder any blame (line up, tactics, personnel, substitutions, coaching, motivation) will now break any unity the squad had and the tears, recriminations and inevitable transfers will now begin...

Such a shame.
