I agree with this. I am not saying he is good enough. I am saying he is okay as a 4th or 5th CB.
We have a bloated squad because of keeping players that aren't good enough. We need 3 specialist CBs, 2 LBs and 2Rbs.

We are not playing in Europe so having too many backups is a waste. Sanchez may fit in well with Serie A or maybe Bundesliga. EPL and La Liga has players leaving him in a knot. He is just not good enough for it.

Interesting analysis of the second goal we conceded vs Brentford, basically Bissouma and Skipp were too lackadaisical in tracking back. If Skipp doesn't track back then what does he even offer on the pitch?

but at Celtic he had the most of best players in that league, a league were its either of 2 teams that win it
I agree with you on the bias towards the wealthiest teams - same in England. I don't agree with you when a no-mark appears from Australia, completely changed the football philosophy and bought far eastern players. We were banking on Eddie Howe and got AP at the last minute. Sure it's more competitive in the EPL but you haven't been near silverware since Jesus was a boy so why are you trying to compare the scenarios? Youve probably won nothing in your lifetime supporting Spurs - AP will change that. Mark my post - this guy is special. Reminds me a bit of Clough. Good luck for the season from a genuine football fan.

Is that right that whilst you can have 5 subs, you can only sub on 3 occasions?

I can only think that this is the reason we didn’t see a few minutes for Gio or Solomon at the very end
It's true, but that doesn't explain why he didn't substitute more than one when he subbed in Perisic.

Richarlison has a really annoying habit of shooting when the ball is clearly going to be blocked by the defender. Does it all the time, gets very frustrating.

I am still hoping he just needs a confidence boost, but am getting a sinking feeling...
Defoe use to do that but that kind of sums up rich. His a sandwich short of a picnic no real football intelligence.

If anyone was at fault to me the cbs were too deep conceding all that space in the penalty area

Yeah, he bought them and established his credentials for not only seeing a player but getting them to buy into his philosophy. And he paid peanuts. Big price tags don't guarantee success - a solid plan and philosophy does. I'm surprised he hasn't moved for Kyogo - I reckon he is a better finisher than Kane.

Hardly comparing him to his peer group. What a weird, aloof comparison with zero relevance to anything.
Really?
You don't get it?

You can't see why someone with no achievement in a sport might not actually be qualified to make banal and ignorant judgements on people stratospherically better than them?

I guess that sums up the value of your posts as well then.

I know x pro’s that are friends that know less about football than me, they would absolutely admit that too

The multiple highly successful coaches who played at a ridiculously low level or not at all are testament to this.
Yeah. I’m sure there are some x players that are studious, and are also highly successful managers but I would back even Mick Copper to know more about football than say Michael Owen
