Match Brighton v Tottenham, Wed 16th March, ko 7.30pm - Not on tv.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

They had better get the Goons match on soon, any later and our fragile neighbours will be getting another postponement due to heatstroke/sunburn etc.
I honestly think Sky are dictating to the PL when this match gets played...
It'll only be rearranged once we're level on points, with equal games, and only GD between us, and an "All or Nothing North London Six-Pointer Super Sunday Showdown" is inevitable...

"Join our pundits in the gantry; Alan Smith, Charlie Nicholas, Ian Wright, Gus Caeser, Herbert Chapman and special studio guest Arsene Wenger.
....and to provide a balanced perspective, we'll have "Mr. Tottenham" himself, the one and only Sol Campbell, giving his thoughts on 'all things Spurs' ....join us after the break!"

Was at the game - can't get a replay of Kane penalty at end? Was it a pen? Had him 2 or more goals in a bet lol
Weird, Tony Cottee was 100% sure it was a penalty. It didn't look there was much contact in it tbh but Kane wouldn't normally turn down a shot. Plus at the end the defender and Kane were joking about it; it looked as if Kane was saying "you got away with that one".

And David Dein, half the Premier League board and a celebration lasagne gift for THFC the day before.

I made the same mistake - Tony Cottee was actually Tony Gayle.
Both ex West Ham and seemingly have the same voice.

That's why everyone's mouths dropped open (I assume they did -- mine did) when he missed that open goal. I mean, it was a tight angle on his left from an awkward position, but it definitely met the technical definition of an open goal. And those are excuses for lesser players, not Kane -- he doesn't need/want excuses. I don't think I've ever seen him miss an actual open goal before. That was a collector's item precisely because of his reliability.
I didn't see the match thread for the Boro game but I'd be curious to know the reaction when Doherty missed similarly from the right after the keeper had over committed

It is an incredible record I think he will end up like shearer with an outstanding goal scoring record overall but nothing else to show for it.
I think it is a bit of a shame that possibly the best striker of his generation and all time premier League could end up potless at the end of his career.
It certainly would be a shame but to be fair, he’s had his chances. With Spurs and with England he’s had finals and hasn’t scored a single goal in any of them.
Not blaming him, just saying he’s had his chances…

Haha damn right

The later it is, the worse it is for us as they need to drop points asap

Can't tell you how important that deflection for the first goal was.

At that point the game was just turgid, slow tempo, meandering away into a likely 0-0 draw or worse 1-0 loss. I was so relieved we got that goal early.

Do you not think we've been largely shit in finals though? We haven't scored in our last 4 finals as a club, England played some turgid anchor football against Italy as wellz not sure what he's meant to do in any of those matches...Do you even remember any Cleer cut chances for him in them, I dont.

More than likely. But I think the only week it really can take place in realistically is the week commencing 18 April, so should happen that week. I could be wrong but thats what it looked like the other day.

The ref yesterday was pretty poor really. And no, I am not posting this because of Hazard's complain about him...

He was a fucking shambles, an easy game to ref and he completely lost control
