Player Bryan Gil

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Pretty sure there's an awful lot of propaganda going on from both sides of that conflict that too many people believe whole heartedly.
Bottom line is, people are dying and their homes and livelihoods are being taken away on both sides.

It's sad that in 2024, people believe everything they read and never question it, ultimately labelling innocent people supporters of genocide.

OK...

How would you know? Did you know Marseille planned to buy Hojbjerg? Let them work.
For all the grief he has gotten from our fans Hojberg has proven he’s a good player in the right system - and useful one even for Ange-ball where he is completely miscast. He’s played 145 matches - 117 starts for us in 4 seasons. Over 10,000 minutes on the pitch. 8 goals - 14 assists from the midfield often playing deeper.

On the other, Gil has played all of 451 minutes in 3 years. ZERO goals and 1 assist as an “ATTACKING” winger. I held out hope for a long time. But sadly, he’s useless.

If someone in Spain or Italy will pay his 40K/week in wages with an option (even if in all likelihood won’t be exercised) - We should take it and call it a win - that’s over 2M quid in wages. Don’t see any team giving us a transfer fee for him.

No, no Airfixx Airfixx has spoken.

Sure, but I bet he stays. You can only get rid of so much dead wood in a window, and then someone has to be interested in him. He was a free tfer and wouldn’t have thought he’d be on high wages. As we haven’t bought a winger yet we need backup players if we get injuries and for cups/Europa. He’ll stay, that’s why Ange has been playing him in practice games. My guess is no one is interested in him so we’re stuck with him.
Just terminate and let him leave. The sooner the better.

Ironic post. I wont comment further

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Tottenham has extended Gil’s contract before allowing the loan move. Originally set to end in 2026, this extension is designed to protect his market value. Moreover, Tottenham has included a release clause in Gil’s new deal, allowing clubs to buy him for €15m (approximately £12.7m). This clause adds an interesting dynamic, as it could attract potential buyers while giving Tottenham a safety net.

One of the more unusual aspects of this arrangement is that while Girona does not have a formal option to buy Gil, they will be given the first refusal. Ultimately, the final decision regarding his sale will rest with Gil. Given his desire to join Girona and the possibility of a fruitful season with the club, it’s plausible that he might opt to stay if things go well.

We see Bryan Gil’s loan move to Girona as a win-win for all parties involved. For Gil, it offers a chance to regain confidence and showcase his talent in a competitive league where he has previously thrived. Girona gains a promising player who can contribute to their Champions League campaign and domestic ambitions. Tottenham, on the other hand, protects its investment while keeping the door open for either a profitable sale or a revitalized return.
