...and yet our under 21s are top of the league and under 18s are doing well... Surely that's TWO potential LBs in those teams?

Every other fucking club gives their youngsters a go...
Surely a specialist left back (however young) is a better bet than a square peg in a round hole, just cus he's Brazilian?!
(Sorry Royal, not your fault.. nice guy and all that... But you're NOT a left back, and not even that good a right back to he burdened with such responsibility!)
Keep saying there must some players worth a go otherwise what is the point having a youth / academy system. Other clubs promote their players they may not work out but some might. Any case we play the same expensively purchased shit all the time knowing they are are not good enough and failed multiple times. So why not just give a youngster a game. They would be chomping at the bit.

Box to box we are not bad but we have nothing creative and never look a threat whether it’s against a team sitting in or even like against Chelsea at times tonight when they are quite open. We have front players that are not good enough and can’t play in any system by the looks of them. The decision making is absolutely horrific by these front players. We also don’t have anyone that can open the game up with a pass or beat a man apart from madders and he’s miles off it too. The confidence is shot to fuck and this will get worse in the next two games and then we’ll see the season out with two wins.

Just heard Ange’s interview and he’s fucking raging and you can tell by that interview that he’s going to be demanding better players. I don’t think he trusts what he has to make us better.

The sad part is he won’t get anywhere near the quality needed.
But we have spent a lot already on players he wanted. Drag doesn’t even get a game.

Yep, a 3-4-4 formation would be brave to the maximum. No one has tried to play with 12 men before!

To dare is to do i guess!

Lol 343 it should have been but anyways just play the 3 CBSs now that we have 3. Play your stupid inverted FBs in the midfield. I’d personally just go 2 up top and pack the midfield. Give MADDs a free role. No point playing wingers who are all shit.

Yeah, and we're ending with Goons, Chavs, Dippers and City and will no doubt get 0 points!!
(I'm not even thinking about Burnley's great escape, and 'nothing to lose' Sheffield Utd on the last day!)
Dippers you had to say was the luckiest 3 points ever v 9 men. We could do easily have lost that when they had 10. Manure were shite but even then in first half they could have wrapped it up but missed some sitters. Even then first half’s were pants.

...and we've been paying for it ever since!

It has to go down as *the most COSTLY victory of the season!
How is that even possible??

*Obviously, THE most costly victory will be if we beat Man City, and hand the Arse the title!!

100% agree...

The biggest worry that most Spurs fans have is that the players have mentally checked out for the season ... (Hopefully not checked out altogether!)

But imagine how keen to impress and eager some of our youth players would be to grab their chances!

If the likes of Donley, Dorrington, Moore, Lankshear are as good as everyone is saying, then why not give them a go...?
Ledley got his debut at Anfield, and he didn't turn out bad!

If they're not quite ready, then they've plenty of time ahead, but we've got nothing to lose...
But just imagine if one or two shine, and we unearth another Kane/King gem?!

We haven't exactly got a proud record of promoting the youth, but when we find one, BOY do we find one!

Agree on the subs especially.

Kulu had to be hooked for Mad at the very least - how he played him the full 90 was myopic in the extreme because he was fucking terrible.

Biss was our best player and taking him out for PEH was completely unnecessary and took us backwards.

Shifting Johnson over to the left killed his (limited) effectiveness and then he hooked him for the even less effective Gil whilst leaving Kulu on.....just madness.

I'm not for sacking Ange and I remember some real piss poor stuff from Poch in his first season (the 3-0 loss to United was diabolical) but this shit has to improve if he's gonna last any length of time and be even vaguely successful.

The forwards (Son, Johnson, Richy and especially Kulu) and fullbacks were shit tonight so he changed the midfield. Lost us momentum and the game ultimately. The penny needs to drop and fast.
Exactly what I wrote😀

Well that was peak grumpy Ange

No real insight

But he did say we're 5th not 18th so have a bit of perspective

But he's got a shit load to do and he looked very brow beaten.
VE BREK ZEM ALL EVENSTUALLY!! 🧐👮🏼‍♂️

Nah! This is footage of him from last season;

If he does that in next season's 100% polyester child exploitation pyjama away kit, he'll explode!!

Son is absolutely fucking cooked, we need to sell him this summer while we can get some money for him off Name value, I love him for everything he's done for the club but he has been utter shite since coming back from the Asia Cup and has played an awful lot of football, wrong side of 30, it's time for us to bring someone in who can make that LW spot their own for the coming years, and I don't think that's Werner. Wouldn't mind him as a squad player but if that's our move to shore up the left wing I fucking give up.
I think Son is worth more to the club in matchday shirt sales and S.Korean market alone to just sell him!!

I reckon we'll keep him here till he retires... Then promote him from within to coaching staff...

Levy ain't letting this cash cow go just yet!!!

Levy only wanted BJ because Forest had FFP issues. Same with Richarlison at Everton. Its like a fetish of his to buy from distressed assets.
But we paid over the odds for him. Brentford had agreed £35M before the PSR deadline but forest got greedy. They waited till end of window and we came along bcos Ange had a hard on for him and splunked the £47.5M.

I spoke to a Chelsea fan in the pub last night. He reckons that’s the easiest game he’s seen them play this season. That’s not great to hear.
After what happened at the superbowl last November it should have been the toughest. No team talk should have been needed for our boys.
