Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Reading a few posters saying they don’t care about tonight and won’t be watching.

People who obviously don’t understand what supporting a club is about. You stick with the club through thick and thin.

And even though we are going through a bad spell, we are still fifth. And about to play one of our main rivals.

If you don’t care about tonight and can’t get yourself up for doing so, you don’t deserve to call yourself a Spurs supporter. And you certainly don’t deserve to enjoy any success we may have in the future.

I get the disappointment, even anger from the weekend. I was pissed off too. But we are hardly having a shite season overall.

This place would have to go on suicide watch if we were mid table.

I don’t think this place is a reflection of our fan base as a whole and just as well, as the forum really is stuffed full of soppy, I want it now, cuntbubbles.
It’s not. Definitely not a reflection of match going fans anyway

What makes you think I’m not sticking with the team I support because I’m fucking sick of the shit this fixture has become?

Michael Oliver and the premier league artificially created the battle of the bridge and the poison that this will inevitably be for Spurs fans.

This is a dead end season, we can’t escape that. Doesn’t mean I’m not back with a vengeance as soon as there is something to play for again that’s worth putting up with their shit.

It is not dead end until we've secured some kind of european football, whether that is CL, EL, or UCL. Any one of those would be better than another season of European-less football next season.

Just my opinion anyway.

Aye, thankfully anyone I’ve ever witnessed at the ground are on the whole positive. You get the odd moaner, but that’s expected. And often justified.

But the constant moaning and battering of the club, owners, manager, coaches and players on here is grating. As has been said though, they’ll all be in this thread doing the same again tonight. Whilst the fans at the ground will be singing their fucking hearts out in support of the team. Or, will be standing in front of the telly, pissing off their neighbours, shouting like a mental patient.

It’s a good job the moaners on here rarely, if ever, actually go to games as we’d need a counselor in every aisle and seats that dispense Kleenex by the handful.

(Change to Clattenburg).

We shouldnt be letting the season fizzle out. Win tonight and top 4 is still very doable. Liverpool look cooked and we have Burnley and Sheff Utd. We should at least be trying to make Villa work for it. Ok its the top 4 trophy again but its better than nothing. Plus its momentum and better vibes heading into next season.

I see we’re at the ‘fan policing’ stage of the season.

The virtuous telling us who does and does not qualify as a fan.

Utter bollocks. Fans have every right to be fucking pissed off with the eternal purgatorial hellscape that Spurs serve up.

You can't be a fan if you're not bothering to watch the team you're meant to support just because they have lost a couple of matches.

That's not called being a fan, that's called being a stupid cunt.

Nah we're finally at the stage where the vast majority of this forum are fed up of the usual suspects whining / crying / melting / slagging off the players and manager every other second, and are rightly calling these hypocritical serial moaners out.

Got most of them on ignore now though and it's making this place a thing of beauty.

Deal with it.

Champions League place is still up for grabs.

Admittedly it's a long shot..........

And also I don't want Chelsea to do the double over us and think our team needs to show a bit of character.

The most interesting thing tonight is to see if what Ange said on Sunday was bollocks or not - "we'll learn from this, we need to figure some things out......we're all disappointed".

In many ways this is a key moment in the team and Ange's time here.

If there's some kind of reaction and we try things a bit differently and even mix the team up a bit, then it will show that Ange and the team are actually learning and it isn't just bullshit and sound bites.

If there's no reaction and we bend over and lie down, then that will also be telling.

We can go to Chelsea and do them in their own house just like they did to us earlier in the season and that's still exciting!

Yeah they do. That’s the problem isn’t it, the years of almost there and false dawns.

It means that very quickly any new manager loses the belief of the fans.

Those of us who try and stay positive and believe that there are more positive times ahead just get wound up with the constant negativity being spewed in here.

I’m not fussed with champions league. Especially as we probably need to help woolwich out to get it. I’ve never seen 4th as winning things and sport is about winning. Top 4 race is just for sky sports ratings and I don’t want to give them another penny or minute of my attention with the way they treat spurs fans.

As for showing progress, I just don’t see it the same way mate. Single games don’t show me much. We could win and I’d still think we have way more to learn if we want to challenge. If we lose I’ll think the same thing.

This game is just about negativity for Spurs fans. I’m just removing myself from that because it’s been this way for too long.

It’s all about opinions in the end. My opinion is that no true fan spends all, or the majority of their time deriding everything attached to the club they claim to support. I believe no true fan looks at a fixture against Chelsea and decides they can’t be arsed watching. Or don’t want to. It boggles my fucking mind.

You may well think that the sign of a true fan is someone who appears to be constantly waiting for shit to go a bit wrong, before covering this place in their excrement. Taking some kind of perverse enjoyment from posting their “suffering“ for everyone to see. You may thing that a proper fan won’t watch the match tonight. Those are your rights.

But it’s my right to call out such craven behaviour as cunty in the extreme. Weird for me, as I was under the impression I’d weaponised the ignore facility enough to weed out the worst of this place, but the last few days have been ridiculous in their negativity.

This fanbase is ridiculously divided.

The policing thing happens both ways, even if you’re positive and back the manager you’re told off for being a cultist

I’d like to think fundamentally we all want the same thing and that’s Spurs being successful. I do think there’s a few people on here who enjoy winding other people up though
