Hardly a surprise is it that without Salah being in that form there performances have declined . What has surprised me though is how quick scouse fans and the media have started to get on there back it's usually a love in with them

They may just need to beat Napoli at home on the final day to go through.

They are currently 2nd in their group and just 1 point ahead of PSG. Their next game? Away at PSG. If they click, they could certainly cause Liverpool alot of problems and if they won? Liverpool would be in 3rd place needing nothing but a win at home to Napoli. Not impossible that they could be knocked out.

If they lose to PSG they need to beat Napoli by 2 goals to progress. Not so easy.

have to admit, it would be funny as hell if circumstances managed to twiddle it that we scrape through and they end up going out.

From RAWK talking about us financing the stadium:

‘I think their best hope might be to drop into mid-table for a few years, hope they can pay off the stadium without going down to the Championship, and then rebuild when the debt has stabilised. But that's a long wait for Pochettino, what's in it for him?’

Gotta love how they go from random speculation on going midtable to questioning why Poch would stick around as if it's a certainty.

Ah yes, we'll have to curb that huge net spend per season that we usually do.
