That's why I think Thomas Frank is the best option, he has a similar role at Brentford and has a proven record as a coach.

De Zerbi can drill patterns into the team during preseason and make them look good for a bit but it would be his third season, I don't think it would take that long for teams to find him out.

I think if he's appointed it will be similar to their season with Sarri. They started strong until they got humiliated by us. Except now they have worse players, so they'd probably finish around 8th.
Why do you want Chelsea to appoint a good coach?

Almost as if they were close to McKenna only to realise Ipswich finished 2nd behind Leicester so got their manager instead.

Such a weird appointment. Couldn't care less about Podgettino but what have they possibly seen in Maresca that thinks he'd do a better job there!?

Easy to joke that they really haven't got a clue in the boardroom, but it's painfully obvious that is the case.

De Zerbi? Because he's similar to Conte and Sarri. They get found out eventually in this league.

Terrible temperament as well, blaming referees for the shit results. 4 wins in the second half of the season is a disgrace. If he's crying about referees at Brighton, wait until he goes to Chelsea and see how he handles the pressure there.

He should show a little loyalty and spine and stay at least one more season with his own team...clearly he thinks more of himself and his own ambitions than he does of his teams....pretty selfish and childish stuff imho....
It's a selfish industry, you have to look out for yourself. Loyalty gets you nowhere in football.

He literally got them promoted twice, he has his own career to look after.

These clubs would sack managers in an instant if things weren't going the way they wanted it to.

Way to jump the gun..... He hasn't quit Ipswich yet. :pochcmon:
