Christ adding Rabiot and arnautovic to an already nightmarish dressing room, they’re a mess

You know the final piece of the puzzle they're missing.........

No sure who woman was on sky yesterday but she had a great point about uniteds scouting system being in disarray compared to a club like Brighton who wouldn’t have the resources united have.

She's not wrong, but it's a criticism you could make against a lot of bigger/richer clubs......

Chavs have wanked away a fortune and up until very recently we've done a shit job of it too.

It hasn't worked reliably for quite a while now. Even City doesn't quite live up to their own reputation. The likes of 100m for Grealish aside (lol), City still scouts pretty well and a lot of their spending isn't blockbuster amounts on individual players, but rather multiple players in quick succession to build around players that are immediately successful, and everyone else is quickly pawned off.

United and Woolwich were the ones to most openly embrace the philosophy of using their financial might as a jackhammer to work primarily through agent relationships rather than scouting networks, and it has resulted in both of them compiling a squad of misfit headcases that resemble a shoddy jigsaw puzzle with ill-fitting pieces. The only winner from their transfer strategy has been the agents.

Plus Rabiot's mother, who is said to have sabotaged his move to Spurs with ridiculous demands. I guess United are in a state where they will give him whatever he asks for.
I still fondly remember our negotiations for Alen Halilovich, where if memory serves me correctly his family demanded that Spurs buy houses for the extended family.

The dealings Utd have had with Juve are just ridiculous:
a) United let Paul Pogba go to Juventus for free
b) Signed him back for a world record fee!
c) Let him go back to Juventus for free again,
d) and are now paying them a fee to take Adrien Rabiot!!

Did Sky actually buy Man Utd when we weren't looking?

On the front page of their Football section of their website, they have 16 main headlines, ELEVEN of them are related to Man Utd.

Yeah they monetrize the fuck out of arguably the biggest club in the world purely for clicks and engagement thus more revenue, always been the case.

Rabiot would add quality to the United midfield. Could be a good deal for them.

Probably says more about the quality in their midfield right now though.
