I'm glad he's managed to find a pretty zen place (hasn't been yellow carded since 10th December) just in time to face Matty Cash.

He's had it all season really. The Chelsea game was never a red
Agreed, to be fair. He was on a decent run of discipline before the Chelsea game and then madness seemed to take over certain players. The vice captaincy and being the mature player next to Micky seem to be suiting him. He's had it all season really. The Chelsea game was never a red and still very unlucky, if you look at the way he's defended since it was definitely the exception not the norm.
I'm with you mate. As soft a direct red as I've ever seen. You are wasting your breath telling me just as much as I am repeating it.
And I’m with you all the way mate. Never in a million years should it have been a red card or penalty. Its a fucking clearance. You are wasting your breath telling me just as much as I am repeating it.
Yep and was very active separating our players post McGinn assault.Think everyone needs to give him props. He could have very easily bought into the narrative surrounding him in this game re Cash, but he stayed composed throughout
Thank god!
His first half was fucking shite though.Great second half.
The responsibility of the vice captain role has seemed to have calmed him down .
Hence we are now seeing him at his very best
