The thing is its a team game, yes Romero made a mistake but had the rest of the team done their jobs his mistake wouldn't have cost us, you can't be having all the possession and 20+ shots and getting an own goal as you single goal of the game.

Funny how we're saying this every other match now.The thing is its a team game, yes Romero made a mistake but had the rest of the team done their jobs his mistake wouldn't have cost us, you can't be having all the possession and 20+ shots and getting an own goal as you single goal of the game.
Romero could be world class, but his positioning and hot headedness severely handicap his performances.Romero is a class defender and yet you lot expect him to be some kid of shape shifter who can teleport himself around the pitch to do everyone else's job as well as his own.
For Barnes's goal there was a line of 6 Spurs players between Barnes and the goal as well as Vicario - and yet the TFC "Hangin' crew" have all decided that he is solely to blame. Good one. Barnes' strike was utterly brilliant for both power and accuracy and was almost impossible to stop.
For their second there were 3 Spurs defenders in distance of the 2 newcastle players - and Romero was adding weight to the pressure being put on their defence, to try to force a winner. Joelintons pass was spectacularly good - and there was feck all Romero could do about it.
I agree about the Leicester goal, he went ball chasing and left Vardy in a criminal amount of space
Maybe if some of you stopped trying to find a scapegoat in a desperate desire to see someone hung by the neck until sold, to appease your anger at us losing, and accept the fact that at this level there are players who can do things that actually beggar belief.
If you don't think I care enough - like you all do, then you should see the devastation I wrought onto the flower beds in my garden with a strimmer after the game. Wife distinctly unimpressed.
And for the hang Ange crew - look at the football we are playing, we are wrecking teams with this style of play, we just can't live with the people we are losing at crucial times. I'd rather watch this than the godawful eyesore football served up by Mourinho, Conte and Nuno
Clearly, that rando is out of his mind.
Up to Ange to fix it - lets see what he does for the NLD
I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think Ange will bench Cuti.
Yeah he ain't Benching our second top Scorer before the NLD!
you're confused - I was talking about good footballersSays the guy that literally posted in 2 match threads (during the game) to inform everyone that a supporter from the stands is better than Brennan Johnson and how shit he is.
The funny thing is that was all you posted. Johnson I think then scored the winner in 1 of those games and you were never to be seen again.
Hypocrites are the absolute worst. "It's not good to scapegoat our players...well unless it's brennan Johnson..that's fine...but yeh don't scapegoat anyone".
I disagreed because you paint yourself as some sort of holier than thou demi God casting aspersions at everyone on here when you are guilty of the exact same actions.you're confused - I was talking about good footballers
But thinking has never been your strong point
has it?
I feel sorry for BJ, he's obviously got talent, but whether its nerves, confidence, loss of form - at the moment he's a passenger in the team.
He came on yesterday and banged loads of crosses over the goal line, because there was nobody there to receive them, he took a shot at goal that was going wide until Pope spooned it to Burns who smashed it into the net.
His decision making isn't good.
Odobert however, stepped up from his first performance and was much better
Did you disagree with my comments about Romero because I was Mr meanypants about your hero BJ?
Oh bless...........
you are such a whiney little thing aren't you?I disagreed because you paint yourself as some sort of holier than thou demi God casting aspersions at everyone on here when you are guilty of the exact same actions.
I'm a firm believer that a person should practice what they preach and that's obviously something you don't believe in.
You've now clarified your stance by stating that what you perceive as a "good footballer" shouldn't be "made a scapegoat in a desperate desire to see someone hung" but someone you deem to be shit is fair game and you will in fact be leading on the scapegoating.
As i said, thank you for clarifying and confirming your hypocritical nature.
You're missing the point (again).you are such a whiney little thing aren't you?
I have explained what I think of BJ and that's what it is all about - the paucity of his performances up to date. I have made jokes about them (I'm such a naughty boy) and my comments have been echoed by a growing number of other posters who feel the same way.
If BJ suddenly starts putting in stellar performances, I'll be happy to eulogise them, and furthermore, if he puts in a good performance and gets accused of playing badly or being responsible for a mistake he didn't make or the concession of a goal that he could do nothing about - I will stand behind him and contest the people heckling him.
I dislike hypocrites and go out of my way to avoid hypocrisy, and you are far more worthy claimant of that behaviour for the scorn and derision you poured on Winks, than I have ever been.
Your posts are genuinely funny to read, there is so much that you post that is wrong and utter cobblers, you cheer me up. You are the Forrest Gump of the Fighting Cock
jesus you are hard workYou're missing the point (again).
I'm not the one acting like some self proclaimed forum police officer informing everyone what they should and shouldn't do. If people want to slag a player off that's entirely up to them. Unlike yourself I do not condemn people for doing that...WHILST DOING THAT MYSELF.
You have over the years informed everyone that we shouldn't slag players off, shouldn't scapegoat players, shouldnt do this..shouldn't do that acting like you're above this sort of behaviour.
Like I've said you've clarified by stating its ok to do this if YOU (Mick Cooper) deem the player to be shit. Thank you for clarifying.
Nah you just tell us that we should give any fan from the stadium a Spurs kit and get them on the pitch as they would be able to do a better job then a certain player. That's not calling the player shite at all.jesus you are hard work
you only see what you want to see. I don't call players shite, champo, wage thieves etc etc
I explain why I have a problem with their contribution, or lack of it.
You're the kind of person that sees the same person at 3 fires and screams ARSONIST!
whilst people patiently tell you that he's a fireman
but you still scream ARSONIST!
And when people started talking bollocks about Romero needing to be dropped and that he was at fault for the 3 goals we've conceded - I explained why I believe it not to be the case, and agreed that he was for the Vardy goal.
But you see what you want to see - in what I post, and I'm fed up of trying to make things clear to you. You either lack the perspicacity to take in information, or are too obtuse to be able to join the dots up.
Nah you just tell us that we should give any fan from the stadium a Spurs kit and get them on the pitch as they would be able to do a better job then a certain player. That's not calling the player shite at all.
Thick as fucking pig shit.
aren't you justNah you just tell us that we should give any fan from the stadium a Spurs kit and get them on the pitch as they would be able to do a better job then a certain player. That's not calling the player shite at all.
Thick as fucking pig shit.
Casemiro has made a lot of mistakes, Baz. I don't think we'd want him.
yeeeeehawwI distinctly remember Uncle Cooper telling me I had no right to critique our gaffa cos I'd never managed at the highest level...........
Close the forum.
Exactly.Fucking shambolic defending that has nothing to do with Ange's tactics.
