What?! Aboslutely nothing there indicates Rose wrongdoing. You're just criticising his body shape to suggest the goal was his fault.

If anything, Eriksen not following his man is more at fault.

You are 100% ignoring Rose practically standing still. Press means you rush him. Don't give him an opportunity to pass. Eriksen isnt good at covering? No shit. It's not like I say that constantly that Eriksen and Rose are wide open.

It's the same soft Spurs. The whole move started with Rose doing a mummy impression off the ball. Where was his guts and passion there?

People are blind because they like Rose. I like him. Just not defending. He's done this jogging thing in the past and you can't switch off.

He was jockeying. It was the 81st minute and he'd been pounding up and down the wings all game. Give him a break.

He presses anyway and the same pass gets played just a fraction earlier. Eriksen still wouldn't have tracked his man, the cross still would have come in, the goal still would have been scored.

Stop scapegoating. It wasn't Rose's fault. It was a well executed goal by Monaco.

I have a point. Rose didn't defend. What have I said in the past? Rose can daydream? Eriksen and Rose leaves the wing wide open? Townsend should not play?

I talk football. Post video's as proof. Talk about things others won't like Rose pushing people in the box.

I gave more proof why Rose should not be in our back line. If him injuring himself covered in bandages is the cool calm collected player you want at the back, then it's going to be a long season because Davies has linked much better with the players around him and has a better understanding with Jan and co.

Rose is all you have left fellahs. Of my time here, I;ve been called every name under the sun and my last claim in this team that is up in the air is...Is Rose the best left back at the club. Because lets not mention how our form went when Townsend was brought on eh? We don't talk about Townsend anymore do we?

So far, Davies is a in a record breaking prem defense. And here we are..Still pretending I'm a fucking troll when I show you video footage of Rose derping around and Jan getting dragged out. Just like I claim happens with Rose and Eriksen. The ONLY way Rose would get in my team at left back is if we have a dearth of pace. Thats it. Otherwise he is a liability at the back. Always has been. Even in his best defensive form we have still looked like a fucking shambles because he switches off or goes missing.

He's a winger. Time will tell.

I'll just leave this here to pretend Rose was interested in pressing.

He backed away. The opposite of pressing. Made room For the opposition to make a KEY pass.

So apart from blood and thunder what happened? They scored because his side was wide open. Unlike your eyes.



Danny Rose backed off. Unforgivable. You are just another fan who thinks entertaining = defending. Last ditch tackles that he is good at is because he had a lot of practice at it. Because we are CONSTANTLY sliced open on counters with him at left back.

I think watching that video of Jan desperately sprinting to fill the void left on the left by Rose and Eriksen tells you how important clearances are. Poor Jan. I also feel bad for Toby being left in a one on one situation. That type of massive failure from our left flank is exactly the type of thing that ruins a great partnership. Jan and Toby have looked like poetry in the middle. Now with Rose and Eriksen breaking them up...Lets hope they don't continue to worry about putting out other players fires for them.

Now Eriksen is going to be frustrated. Jan is going to be frustrated. Toby is gutted. But hey: Rose covered himself in glory right? To hell with the team. Lets ignore him pushing people in the box and backing off an attack that led to a goal.
