When we bought them i wasnt very excited but Bentancur was instantly looking like an upgrade on what we have, and kulu has been very consistently started to look like an upgrade too.

Notice how Kulu hugs the lines then makes diagonal runs towards the goal, where as Lucas will play more narrow and direct but more often hits a brick wall.

During the first half he just had no ball at all. People will point to Kane’s performance but getting him involved more in the second half was key to our performance.
He can dig out passes, crosses, flicks from almost impossible angles, has the Rivaldo like quality control right down to point of balance, giving him much broader angles/timings to his play, just lovely…

It never clicked for him at Juve and he was being played all over the pitch and relatively infrequently, thought they were the wrong club for him and that Spurs very well might the right club for him and it seems to be panning out like that. Delighted, as he's a player I've been aware of and rated highly for a long time.
