Well he's a player that frequently gets rated as one of our worst every week on here except the games where he is clearly doing well.
Because we lost against Wolves he was rated 5.71 as our 5th best player on here.
If you look on whoscored, he was our highest rated player on the day. He's also our 4th highest rated player over the season.

Vs Wolves, 4 shots (1st), 2 on target (1st), and of course was our scorer.
4 successful dribbles (1st, 100%), 4 successful tackles (1st).

Though I can't quickly find up to date stats, earlier in the season he was 1st in the league for distance covered. I'm pretty sure he still covers at least the most distance per game for us.

He's our 3rd to scorer, only Maddison making more key passes per game, makes the most successful dribbles per game (also the most unsuccessful) and in turn is our most dispossessed player. Though I attribute a lot of that to Ange insisting wingers try and take players on.

He is a good player and offers us a lot. It's just not as obvious I think mostly due to what looks like laboured, lethargic movement - and those fucking back post crosses that never seem to come off.

That's what I'm saying. He's good and good enough for our level. We aren't title challengers. If we were in that top 3 group, Kulusevski would have a place in the squad, but if we sold him it would be to a club like Newcastle, Man Utd, Villa or something - not relegation fodder.

Just because we make decent profits doesn't mean we would be able to attract the likes of Foden, Saka or Salah even if we offered them £300k per week. When City and Chelsea got bloated out with cheat money they weren't able to make a B-line for Ronaldinho, Messi or any of the absolute best players - they had to over pay Robinho's until they got themselves to a higher status. Chelsea was a little different with Crespo, Veron, Makelele as it was a different thing back then, with a lot of 'off the books' gangster shit going on around it too.

Certainly don't think Kulu has been our 3rd best player. Probably has been our 3rd best forward though. I'm having him over Johnson, Werner, Solomon & Gil more often than not.

I'm not a fan of people that say things like "I said so ages ago, if only everyone listened to me", or people that can't spell the names of our players (especially 4 letter named English players), or people that claim others 'know nothing about football' as that isn't something somebody would say that does actually know a lot with an opinion worth listening to.

I played up to Chelsea academy trials and county level football myself. Not a very high level, but the level you play to doesn't mean anything at all in what we're talking about.

After reading many posts in this thread, I'm surprised at how much stick he seems to get at times. He's far from the finished article and he suits some games more than others. But he's still only 23 and probably 4 or 5 years away from what should be his peak! His talent is obvious and he has a lot of time to improve certain aspects of his game.

That’s often down to need. Clearance from the back down the line and he’s the most advanced player with little or no support. He fulfills this part of his game far better than Sonny does on the other side.

We have a good keeper, best defence and midfield for a very long time and just need to get the forward line right. I may be wrong and time will tell but for me he isn’t good enough long term

The good keeper's poor keeping on corners has cost goals. The best defense in a long time has cost games (Udogie and Romero both have lacked of discipline costing games). The best midfield current lack of form is IMO the primary reason the team hasn't played well recently.

This isn't to see they are not good footballers.

All players have weakness that can cost goals and games.

Quite a lot of Juve supporters weren’t that keen from memory. He is a divisive figure I get that. I would hazard a guess (I could be wrong) that most Spurs supporters view our attack as the area most in need of attention when everyone is fully fit.
