Not sure how anyone can think WHL is not a factor....we have lost 3 times away, drawn 6 and won 6
At home that reads Won 15, drawn 2, lost 0
At Wembley its Won 1, drawn 1 and lost 3

Of course WHL is a factor, we're bloody 8 points clear of Chelsea in the "home" table

England - Premier League - home and away tables
IMO I think there may be over analysis on home and away form. Probably delivered by fear of Wembley next year?? and our form at Wembley??

This year is the only time our home form has been better than our away form since 2011/12 (6yrs!!). To qualify this I'm looking at home and away tables, so where we sit compared to the other teams (not compared against our own points haul).

What does that mean? I haven't got a clue. The only thing that really matters is the points gained both home and away in comparison to the oppo. Burnley did have (until their last couple of games) had the 3rd best home record in the League but had the worst away record, they sit 5 points above the last relegation spot.

The one thing that dictates the higher up the table you finish is a good team that performs well both home and away. We are a good team, we will have a challenge next year at Wembley there is no point pretending that it will be easier. But look how we played on Saturday and even against the Genk with 10 men and there is no issue that we will not turn up and play our normal game. We are not West Ham who have no identity, no definable style and are therefore an absolute clusterfuck. We have a very strong identity that is the envy of the League, we have already played at Wembley and despite not at our best I can spin a positive of we are getting used to it (West Ham went to their cold). Most of our poor record their is with a Spurs side way inferior to the one we are today and with the exception of fucking Portsmouth we have been beaten by superior team (Lost to league champions 2014/15, lost to the winners of FA Cup & Champions league winners, Lost to League Champions, lost in league cup final to a team who was our exact level, lost to League Runners up and FA Cup runners up and CL quarter finalists), list goes on but beaten 90% of the time by a genuinely better side (top 4 club), whilst we were dreaming of Europa League. We are now one of those better sides.

Love the way these two stories are next two each other on the bbc gossip page:

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants to sign Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli, 21, for a world record fee this summer - according to Barcelona legend Xavi. (Sun)

City have been put off in their attempts to bring in Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe after the Ligue 1 club valued the 18-year-old at £110m. (Times - subscription required)

How much do they honestly think Levy would demand for Dele???

20 year old midfielder with 20 or so goals, in today's market if Pogba is £90 then Alli, being English, a far better footballer than Pogba, younger and having Levy as the chairman maybe £120-140 million. United apparently prepared to offer £125 million for Bale when he was ours but he just wanted Madrid and Alli IMO has a higher potential.

City could pay that in theory but even for them it's a lot.

Honestly think we are talking even more than that - when Bale left he only had 2 years on his contract.

I'm not sure he's actually 'buy-able' from a perspective of what we could turn down, the upside of having players like him when you are trying to sell out Wembley, the new ground, naming rights, etc is huge.

Wages will always be our downfall, let's be realistic here, teams like Liverpool City Utd etc are not that far behind us and infact we are all around a similar level yet they pay their best players 150k+/week while we pay around 70-100k... It might be ok now but in no way is it sutainable for the future in keeping and attracting talent

Well most of the squad recently signed 5yr extensions which would suggest they are happy to be here on the wages they are now on

We've done pretty well so far; I'm happy to trust Levy on that front.

I don't think the length of contract means anything to the players.

They want a pay rise. Levy says 5 year deal. They say sure knowing all it means is their price tag is higher.

Every fucking season trust Poch .

Poch said of the rumors that Dele going to Man City is ridiculous. He said Xavi is his enemy because of the Barcelona connection and would say anything to try and undermine Tottenham in their pursuit of glory :pochohshit:
