Ex-Spurs Player Dele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

How many more appearances do we need so we get our 10mil? Can’t be that many?

Asked this last week but never seemed to get an answer. I think I remember reading that we'd get a fee if he made 10 appearances for Everton and then 20 appearances for them. But I don't know if it's flat out appearances or starts.

Because he's already on 12 appearances for them, including bench appearances. And you'd think he'd likely make another 8 off the bench at least before the January transfer window.

Nah, they’ll ditch him at 19. At that point, he’s not worth 10 mil to play one more match.

Rumors last week they were trying to loan him out.

When you think back to when Dele burst onto the scene at Spurs and how exciting he was , you can’t help but feel so sad that he’s wasted the opportunity he had been given . Surely he will look back in years to come and think , if only? Or will he just admire his bank balance ? So sad

once his money starts to tighten up a little in his older years and can't be as extravagant he may look back and think what a waste.
The world at his feet, could've played for any club in the world and been part of those England WC semi final/ Euro Final matches.
He wasn't just a player who ghosted in and scored goals and nothing else as some claim, he had a great eye for a pass, great work rate , and some great technical ball skills .

What a pity, not sure how he dropped off so bad. He did get heavier with muscle post injury which seemed to slow him a touch

Does he even want to be a footballer any more? Would be brave to just walk away, he must have earned enough. Michael Johnson from Man City did that.

Jeez, I remember his goals against the Chavs. 2 headers in the 2-0 over Conte's team, we were the 2 best teams in the country at the time. Another 2 in the 3-1 at the slum, on the chest, volley, bang.

That crazy over-the-head flick and the volley at Palace. I think I ended up 20 rows down. A minute later he nutmegged a defender while facing the wrong way and hit the bar in the one on one with the keeper.

It was also his flick that put Lucas through for the winner v Ajax.

More recently that outside-of-the-boot-half-volley to chip the keeper at the goons in the LC. That crazy pass to set up the first goal in Mourinho's 1st game.

Did he fall into the wrong crowd or something? The guy's talent was off the scale for someone that young.

Besiktas are my Turkish team. I so hope that he can get his career back on track.

It’s so sad man. As much as I’d wanted us to move him on long before we actually did, I also don’t want want People to forget that Dele jumped 2 divisions as a teenager and put up 18 G/A in 15/16.

I hope he’s in a good place mentally .

That it is.... Watching his old Spurs clips is a choker.

He was our golden child.

To hear a 23/24 y/o complaining about his physical decline is telling I think.

I feel for the guy to be honest. And I can understand that people can go off things regardless of what they are for a multitude of right or wrong reasons.

However, he is going to hear, 'oh my god, Dele Alli right? What happened? You used to be a pretty good footballer didn't you?' forever.

Mind you, Bentley doesn't seem to give a fuck.

MK Dons have to bear some responsibility for that playing him in mens football at 15/16 years old. Looking back at that that is pretty ridiculous behaviour. No way a kid should be playing with grown men at that age. Karl Robinson was his manager wants he? I've heard some not great things about the bloke from his time at other clubs, he is a bit of a prick.

One can only assume they've been paying great attention to the work he's been doing out of the camera field of vision. He's still a top 4 caliber player doncha know.

It'll actually be a good move because at that level the club can give him the free role he needs and make other do the donkey work. A worldie here, a worldie there and folks will be sucking him off years beyond when he was useful,
