Their’s is on a completely different level.
I do not rate Reggie at all, but Porro and Udogie have been poor for ages, surely Spence (much earlier than past few games) and Reguilon could have been used. A lot of injuries could have been prevented with better squad rotation.Another one out with hamstring... That walk off doesn't look good.!!!
manager is killing them, physically and mentally. hes destroying the club with his incompetence.I do not rate Reggie at all, but Porro and Udogie have been poor for ages, surely Spence (much earlier than past few games) and Reguilon could have been used. We'll see about Reggie... It's been a minute since we've seen in a spurs shirt..I'm remembering a good enuf wing bac...but we'll c.I do not rate Reggie at all, but Porro and Udogie have been poor for ages, surely Spence (much earlier than past few games) and Reguilon could have been used. Yeah with more use The hamstring gets tighter and tighter, think like a elastic band .. The tighter it gets arguably the weaker it gets , 2 tight, it restricts blood flow and therefore oxygen flow ... BUT The REAL issue is not just over use .. but NOT stretching them out enough.I’m no medical or training expert, so asking this with positive intent.
Why does the way we train / play leads to more hamstring injuries? Wouldn’t long term play like this not strengthen that area rather than weaken it?
Far more explosive runs under Ange. Certainly the case for the centre backsI’m no medical or training expert, so asking this with positive intent.

Appreciate that. I’m Scottish, so not so much with the exercise thing. Hence the question.Yeah with more use The hamstring gets tighter and tighter, think like a elastic band .. Ide say probably a bit of both.. But . From my experience football in general ain't the brightest when it comes to muscle care. Hense so many tears and pulls.Appreciate that. I’m Scottish, so not so much with the exercise thing. Hence the question.
So, Ange’s fault for not insisting on stretching or the player for not doing it?

It’s fatigue from playing games that will be the cause of this. They are t training much just now because of the amount of games. Before every training session they do strengthening exercises as a pre warm up so this is down to how we play. Our full backs will do so much more running in a game than a conventional full back. They are up and down the pitch constantly,in the pitch twisting and turning constantly, recovery running constantly and this will take its toll eventually. Porro is next to go.I’m no medical or training expert, so asking this with positive intent.

In VDV’s case he’s getting asked to constantly cover for a full back and it’s not just 10 yard sprints,it’s 40 yarders at times which again will take its toll the amount of times that it has to happen.
These guys do loads of stretching and strengthening exercises that it’s more likely fatigue. They get rubs every day before and after training too. It’s catching up with our players.Yeah with more use The hamstring gets tighter and tighter, think like a elastic band .. For years I’ve always thought Liverpool run more than everybody and are always intense.I watch Van Dijk, Robertson, Trent and they sprint like lunatics for 90 mins. As hard if not harder than ours. Why are they so resistant to this problem with as great or greater intensity. It’s like we need to study Liverpool’s fitness regime.

they had a drop off a couple years ago. i dont think they are as intense now. diaz is relentless, but players like robertson have had a clear drop off in intensity now. they were animals the year they won the CL and around them years. For years I’ve always thought Liverpool run more than everybody and are always intense.
