The one question mark I have regarding Campos is how he operates.
For the last few years he hasn't been employed as a typical DOF. He has a player recruitment company based out of Monaco that work with multiple clubs at the same time. In the last few years he has been working for Lille, Boavista and a Belgian club at the same time. He lives and operates out of Monaco (probably for tax purposes) and never lived in Lille during his run as their de facto director of football.
AC Milan pulled out of trying to get him in to helm their rebuild project for this reason. He did not want to move down to Milan and work full time with them. Which for me would have to be a must if we were to get him. He'd have to live in London and be on site and dedicated 100% to our project. Not to two or three other clubs at the same time.

When Galtier did a meeting with Scoulty Limited to plan a transfert window , he had a list with 1000 players followed during 1-2 years and the contract between Scoutly and LOSC was exclusive .

He was talking about Naby Keita and he said the decision for him to move to Liverpool has added pressure for him because he has a whole village in Africa counting on his income - something like that.
Don't think what he said was particularly racist, more insensitive.
