If a team signs a player and while unpacking some Faberge eggs out of boxes in his new house on the suburbs of the crappy city he's had to move to he does his back in and can never play again the club still has to pay the transfer fee.

If he'd arrived and died in a car crash the following week, Cardiff would have no grounds to drag their heels....
Suck it up and pay up.
As far as Nantes goes, a deal was done, they sold their player... What happens afterwards is none of their business.
Insurance runs deep in general aviation. It goes beyond the licenses; if you don't have enough hours in corresponding air-frames then insurance won't play ball, because too many successful doctors and lawyers pass their basic licenses, then go out and buy a plane they're not ready for yet and fly it into the side of a mountain.Perhaps the Insurance won't pay up. Especially if reports of the Pilot not being proficient in this type of flight are true.

I still think that's a tad harsh. More room should be allowed for due diligence.Exactly, if anything it’s cardiff exploiting the tragedy to get out of paying what they owe

Whatever has happened isn't Nantes issue though. For me it's upnto Cardiff & the insurance companies to sort it. Nantes shouldn't go without what they have been promised. It could get very messy it's a shame this news has broke and couldn't be kept under wraps
I honestly hate your tabloid-cover posts.

A broader context for the term is valid, it doesn't begin and end at buying a car.????? You do your due diligence before not after.
You don't buy a car then read about it and take it for a test drive after you bought it.
It makes me want to cunt-off, though.aaah come on! harmless enough. Beats a cuntoff?
