Correct. 83% of spurs fans think we are in better shape than 2001.

Also, less than 25% of fans think winning trophies are the most important factor when choosing the new manager. Over half of fans think playing good football is the most important factor. So the trophy brigade on here are a loud (and angry) minority.
Honest question , where are these figures from?

One reason I'd like us to win a trophy is to stop being ridiculed by clubs around us that haven't Won anything for years too and there are lots of them. We've been very close to getting a number recently but simply haven't done enough in various finals. I can cope with watching Nun/Mourinho/Conte ball if there's something at the end of the drivel but since even with those three we haven't won anything (maybe we'd have won that League Cup with Jose in charge we'll never know) but since we aren't winning anything we may as well play entertaining football.

I'm not believing the 65-70% either maybe 5-7% more like!

Come on don't be so naive, do you really not think that he knows what the fans think of the job he's doing?

He just doesn't give a shit and a silly petition isn't going to change that.
I was thinking about that the other day . I wonder how the social media people go about telling him the lie of the land ? I’m sure he’s got an idea but these days the social media feeds are pretty toxic

The petition was clearly made in exasperation. Its what happens when people feel totally helpless and not listened too. No it wont change anything but clearly it shows the level of frustration. Personally i'd rather see much more coordinated action in the ground, its doing that that will get the media attention. But as someone that has stopped going you cant tell other people what to do. Everyone should do what they can and if its just signing a petition then thats something.

Whats the alternative, be cynical and just shrug our shoulders? That we all just accept this is his personal plaything and do nothing? How many more years 5, 10 ,15? He should have the self awareness that he's had a decent run, 23 years and let someone else have a go. Nothing lasts forever and even if you think he and they have done some good they clearly arent anymore and haven't done for 5 or 6 years. Levy has become a massive drag on this club, he's upset too many people over the years and his decision making is appalling. Enoughs enough.

Do an Everton/Liverpool style protest, leave the ground on the 75th minute and keep doing it, that will affect the team.

Or actually when there's a protest make sure there's more than 20 people turning up or perhaps have a consistent protest

Or just do what the French do and smash up WHL...;)

This fanbase have half assed it in terms of protesting, having a petition isn't going to make anyone aware more than an actual protest.

I wouldnt disagree. We have always been an apatheic fanbase and i'd love to see a proper Scouse style protest. But not everyone goes, people can still support the team from afar and perhaps its their way of at least showing some support to the cause. I'd be amazed if anyone thinks it will make any difference but i really see no reason to sneer.

Ok , don’t believe it . It’s been mentioned in several videos & my lad says it too . He was surprised how very corporate it was & loads of day trippers

We are talking the Experience thing here, with the meal , not regular seats .
The percentage quoted is a ridiculous exaggeration. There's simply no way it's true. Season tickets alone preclude it from being even close to true.

The problem with any protest or petition is that there aren’t any clear, realistic demands. It reminds me of the gilets jaunes - general discontentment with a few hardline idiots.

Ladies and Gentlemen.

Despite the cost of living crisis, the managerial shambles, the DOF scandal, dropping out of the top 4, and yet another drab trophyless season,

and this

I knew, somewhere there had to be one....lurking....somewhere. In some obscure thread

I'm waiting to see the anti levy mob give him some praise for not increasing.

Got himmm.....
