I’ve read that Monaco are going to come back with a third and better offer to Fulham.
So his options are to push for a move this week to get playing minutes elsewhere which rises his stock, or sit in the stands for the season and hope a club will want to give him a massive sign on bonus after sitting a year out.
Contracts go both ways but at his age surely he would back himself elsewhere to get minutes.
you hope hes deluded enough to back himself. hes not cut out for premier league football it all happens too fast for him. he needs to leave the country and play in the slowest league possible.

That seems to be issue. He backed himself to win over Ange to like he did with those frauds Mourinho and Conte.
Now he's backing himself to get a big move, so he's not settling for the likes of Fulham.
Mourinho & Conte inflated his opinion of himself so this is the result. Anyway, he’s only got a year left and Ange has made it clear that he’s fallen way down the pecking order. If he essentially sits out the year his options can easily dwindle rapidly.
The industry of football is so fast paced and changes so quickly.
He's well within his rights to prefer a loan to see out his contract, giving him the opportunity for free agency at the end of it.
He's worth next to nothing anyway, and we're better pointed toward our future with him elsewhere. Get him the loan.

but is he gonna get a loan to anywhere better than a Fulham? Trying to take the club for a ride seems really stupid too cos he's playing with his career, the club's playing with a fringe player.
but you're right, he's the past, we needn't be too fussed about what he does or doesn't do.
Surely if Fulham are genuinely interested, a loan like this would be the best option for them anyway.
