Royal can’t kick the ball with his left foot so he definitely can’t be cover at LCB. I don’t think Royal is technically good at all and offers nothing going forward but he is a steady decent right back. I can’t see him being first choice at RB for us.

Davies headed it into the danger zone. It was a slow looping header that bounced up in front of Dier. Not the easiest to control with an attacker bearing down on you.
Dier should have attacked the ball and headed it out for a throw but doesn't read the danger and tries to hook it back to Lloris and gets caught out

Dier as your 3/4th choice isn't the end of the world.
