The block wasn't subjective. It was ILLEGAL. The fact that these sometimes don't get called is incompetence not subjectivity. What Kimmich did is illegal, has ALWAYS been illegal - just because incompetent refs sometimes don't call it is neither here nor there.

Nobody understands handball anymore making it the ultimate "subjective" call - personally I don't think that should ever be called handball but meh...

As for the offside - I don't know. I can't remember seeing a replay of it but yes, offsides are generally offside.

But you are being ridiculous about the Kimmich block. It's 100% a foul and should ALWAYS be called by the ref and if not by VAR

The bird ref has just explained the handball perfectly.

The block is subjective because it may be a foul but is rarely given. Why? Because it's allowed to be subjective. Are you telling me that's the first block there's been at this tournament? How many have you seen given.

You are completely missing my point or being disingenuous. I'm not arguing against it being a foul. I'm arguing that the Germans had more to complain about than the Danes. Offside is automated. Crystal clear.

Germany could have had about 6 goals. They had a decent spell at the back end of the first half, thats about it.

Was much more impressed with them against England where they pretty much dominated from about minute 15 - maybe they're just tired.

Most of Germany's clear cut chances came when Denmark were chasing the game though. Always going to happen. Germany deserved the win but with a better striker up front that game could have had a very different ending.

Ange included ?

Yeah, on this, definitely. He sounds like a dick. He was saying the ref didn't give it so why should VAR look at the handball. Ignoring the fact the ball hits his hand on the other side of the player to where the ref is standing. It's not rocket science to realise the ref didn't give it because he didn't see it clearly and knows if it is handball, VAR refs will flag it and let him have a look.

The American 'VAR SPECIALIST' on ITV is really fucking annoying.

It's like having a fucking robot explaining and justifying decisions who's never played football at the highest level.
She wasn't 'justifying' decisions, she was explaining how the technology worked. Don't shoot the messenger. She jokily made a comment at the end, basically saying, it wasn't her personal view.
