Also, this notion about it not being a penalty is utter bollocks. If that happens anywhere else on the pitch a foul is given and absolutely nobody has a problem with it. Why should it be any different because it's inside the penalty area?

Their defender got nowhere near the ball and made some contact with Kane's foot. Soft on his part, but a penalty all the same.
It’s a yellow anywhere else , high , late and studs first

Haven’t you got a terrace overlooking a vineyard to go to . We are enjoying a rare moment of albeit ( limited so far )success , so can you kindly do a Marcel Marceau STFU . We may or may not get over the line , we expect salty tears from Scotland fans but not sure why you are crying . Maybe it’s the onions

I was only responding to people who came to me. I’m not looking for anything but I guess they found it.

I hope it’s a great final!

Good luck :)

So apply EXACTLY the same logic towards Croatia 2018 and the penny will drop ;)

Errrrr the point is Croatia 2018 weren’t better than this England team. Not on paper and not in reality either.

Nor were Uruguay. This England team isn’t fashionable in terms of performances but it has an incredibly formidable recent tournament record. It’s not luck at this point.

Well he can make contact with the ball he's trying to block rather than the player, that's for sure.

If that's the other way around I'm raging at the defender, not the referee.

If he doesn't make contact with the ball it doesn't mean it should automatically be a foul as football is a contact Sport.

The only way that can be given a pen is if it somehow hindered Kane from getting his shot off, it didn't, The contact came after he took the shot so what advantage was Dumfries getting over Kane? None.

That was one of those modern day VAR pens which remove all the context of the incident by just looking for contact and nothing else.

Studs, man, studs!

He didn't stop Kane from shooting because he was so late. Did he make contact with the ball? Nowhere near. Did he make contact with Kane? Definitely. Did Kane make the absolute most of the contact? Absolutely.

You're allowed an opinion but I see it as a penalty all day, every day. Much more so after I saw the replay.

Fouls are given all over the pitch for fouls that are the same . Player passes the ball , opposing player is late , high and studs first , foul and yellow given .

Yes he hit Kane after Kane took the shot, there's literally no advantage that Kane gains.

That's why you give fouls by the way because one player has unfairly taken away the advantage for the other.

The only reason people think it's a pen is because we've been conditioned to this bullshit we see in the Prem and especially since VAR has been around week in week out, those decisions should not be penalties because there is literally no advantage/disadvantage handicap either way.
