Simple, in my mind. Conte wanted a break. Paratici and Levy wanted someone whose sacking wouldn't be too difficult to justify. Nuno was already set up to be a 1 year gig from the contract structure and when it went south so quickly Paratici called Conte and talked him into jumping in early.One day I'd really love to hear the full truth behind the Nuno hire.
