So, on Thursday we are playing that Swiss lot again and will need a win. After a 2-2 draw with Everton and the last European away trip wanting to be forgotten, it's time that we show Europe what we are made of.

Basel played a good game against us Thursday last week, with Stocker and Frei scoring to end our hopes of an easy draw (as some had predicted). Basel are on great home form, whereas we haven't won an European away game since ... it's been a while! Let's continue the road to Amsterdam to bringing an end to both runs, eh.

Hoping for a good game and let's show them that we can make some noise, they really made a fool of us at WHL. COYS!

Kick off is 20:05 GMT (21:05 local). Coverage on ITV starts 7:45pm. For all away fans travelling to Basel, this is what Swiss Spurs Supporters Club posted on Facebook:

Biggest game of the season yet, I'll be heartbroken if we go out. Time to step up Mr. Andre.
Jealous of anyone going, could be one of the best days of your life.
YIDS.

We played some really good football against Everton, much different to the Basel match. If we set up similarly, we'll win. Possession is key. They had it far too much against us. When we had the ball high up the pitch, we threatened.

This is the biggest match of the season, and the players have to think that too

I think we need to go in this, forgetting the football and score from last Thursday and forgetting the score from Sunday. We need to go in this to win. They need to want it, grip it, hold it and squeeze it. Right from the start. We need to be one up by the time those cozy Swiss banker "fans" are trying to squeeze into their seats. We, the fans, need to be singing, shouting, cheering from the first second till the last.

We need glory. COYS

The thing is these cunts are quick on the break and that will suit the way the game has to be played. I feel like we need to score first, to force them to change their gameplan a bit.
