Freekicks didn't even hit the fuckin target. Get Gylfi in there.
you mad? no way we'd let anyone short change us like that with Danny-boy in chargeAre we thinking 70m pounds, now?
**ring, ring**
"Hola, Real Madrid C.F."
"Hello, put me through to Perez"
"Si...."
"Yes, this Florentino, who is this?"
"Knock knock"
"Yes, who's there?"
: "It's me again, you cunt. The price has gone up again!"
Even though he he's a Spud there can't be any denying. He's the best player in the Prem. He's a Ronaldo type specimen, physically he has it all and is unplayable on his day.
I just knew Bale was going to bail them out!!! http://Woolwich-mania.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif
Come on...
Sorry guys. He is carrying them right on his back all the way to top 4.
We're getting smashed next week if we can't stop him.
So f**king typicaaaaaaaaal bale do it again 3-2 game over we f**king must stop him next game really really really.
All isn't lost guys.
At least Chelsea look bloody awful.
I'd be seriously upset if Spuds finally finish above us though. It's looking very likely atm.
Spurs on paper look to have a harder run in, but with Bale in this kind of form, he could rip Liverpool and Chelsea apart.
Ffs, after the spuds equaliser I knew west ham would **** it up
One favour we asked for! ONE
Decent performance but Bale is just too ******* good, slowly but surely reaching Ronaldo level if he can keep this up.
I'm interested in seeing how you handle them. They truly are a 1 man team, much more so than Man Utd.
Draw isn't even good enough on Sunday. It is for Spurs, but not for us. Both sides will score for sure.
That was a massive win for them.
Its unbelievable how many important goals hes scoring especially seeing as hes a winger.
Hes single handedly got them results against West Ham, Newcastle, West Brom and Lyon in the last few weeks.
He has scored 9 of their last 10 goals. Need to stick our most dangerous tackler on him.
He does it again..another last min winner for Spurs..in the meantime I ponder over whether or not to pull the trigger to place a last moment bet..and in a flash the chance is gone..the goal is scored...game over.

You can't really defend against him, he's too fast to play a high line against, his shooting from range is too good to sit deep, his free kicks are too good to keep fouling him, what the **** do you do? http://Woolwich-mania.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
If Bale can keep up this form we're in trouble but I very much doubt it. He always flops towards the end of the season and he probably will again. Spurs are ****** without him.
I'll take a draw on Sunday, I don't see it as a must win but we definately can't lose it.
It probably won't even be Bale against Sagna, he's playing centrally atm and you'd worry about that as we tend to be very open. Couple that with a keeper who is liable to **** up when faced with long-range efforts and we could have a problem.
Can definitely see him scoring against us. But there's no way we won't score at WHL. I'd say draw tbh, which ain't good enough after that result.
They play him more centrally during games. Hate to say it but he is excelling in the free role they've given him. Smh.
True I was just thinking that not sure why I wrote winger, hes a danger as a winger but when he has space centrally he is immense. AVB is getting the best out of him in that position.
barbed penis is very much in realms of possibility now.. ******* arseblog, this has traumatized me forever now http://Woolwich-mania.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif
at least we know how they must've felt last season when the **** was on his little glory run
Can see Madrid, City and maybe Barcelona all bidding £50M plus for Bale in the summer
Watch the media over hype him now and compare him to Messi and Ronaldo plus I won't be surprised if somehow 'Arry is given credit for his form as well. http://Woolwich-mania.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
**** me, I just saw the winning goal. He's now shooting in open play like he does from a free kick...like Ronaldo does. Glad i wasn't watching it live - I'd have smashed something.
I agree now, he's only 23 as well, it's ******* scary how good he can become. Imagine him and Ronaldo on either wing for Madrid, with Ozil feeding them. http://Woolwich-mania.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I wouldn't laugh, he's getting there. He's already got the physique, and just needs to improve his heading... He's scoring with his weak foot for fun, too. Face it, there's not an awful lot between them.
That is a world class drive. FFS. Can't believe this guy grew up an Woolwich fan.
All of a sudden the Ronaldo comparisons aren't seeming as funny, hes been nothing short of incredible the last couple of months.
Fingers crossed Madrid come in with a big bid in Summer.
The Ronaldo talk is still pretty ridiculous. Bale isn't the best player in England, and Ronaldo is a level or two above anything in this league. This is Bale's best run of form in a good while aswell, he cannot get near those players when it comes to consistency.
I wouldn't be surprised if City came in for him either tbh. They really need to strengthen their left hand side and they'll definitely be spending big this summer.
He's pretty consistent at the moment, Fabo! And who knows what he'd do in Spain right now, or next season, like I ******* will be the case? He's not at Ronaldo yet, but only a fool would dismiss his potential to reach such....consistency? He works on his game like a man possessed. That much is obvious. He's a great pro too. He's got all the ingredients.
Bane strikes again! Messi & Bale are a proof that talent mixed with steroid/growth hormones produce magic.
We have to remember aswell that Bale is playing in a fairly average team.
He's literally carrying them to 4th at this stage.
Apart from shooting and pace (and even that is debateable) Ronaldo is a better player in almost every aspect. Ronaldo is just the perfect athlete in terms of natural talent and physique. Bale will never reach that level, although he could come close. This doesn't mean Bale is bad, he is surely on of the best in the Premier League. Sagna needs to be at his absolute best next Sunday.
Good enough to start at every big club imo. Would prefer him to Neymar at Barça for sure.
Bale is to Spurs what Van Persie was to us last season. I have never been a big fan of Bale, but I have to admit he is getting there. Every time he got on the ball today all I could think was "stop him", the same thing I think when we play Barcelona and Messi gets the ball for example. He's starting to put that fear into teams. As a result of this fear he's creating space all over the park for Tottenham. He receives the ball and 3 players bolt over to him out of fear, leaving his teammates open. Defenders don't know what to do. Get tight and risk being done for pace, or stand off and he'll shoot like he did today.
He's getting up there. I'll concede that much. I fear he will be the difference between Spurs and us this season.
That was a bit of a downer.
Bale is only behind RVP this season in carrying their team, and in general his last 3 months have been amazing. I find it sad with hindsight that we didn't pick up him and walcott, but who could have seen the player he would becoem from a left back with a good free kick?
9 points he has won them in the last few games, thats the sort of **** you need to deliver to be rated as the top of the league.
Bale has been incredible these past few weeks.
That said I think you guys are forgetting just how ridiculous Ronaldo was. At age 22/23 he scored 40+ goals for Man U, including 31 in the league and he was operating in a similar role as Bale is now. 31 goals is still well beyond Bale's output now, and is really in a league of its own for a non-striker (in this league at least).
If he went to Man Utd next season, I'd back him to score 30 plus goals. As it happens, if the season started tomorrow, I'd back him to score 30 plus goals for Spurs ffs! He's obviously gone through one of those periods recently where everything has fallen into place and he's gone up a level. He's grown sh!t loads in the space of a couple of months. I've seen it happen before. Henry made a huge step up like that in a short period.
The time that zidane watch bale against Lyon so then am sure madrid will buy him next window bale and ronaldo on the wings is so f**king unreal man.
Ronaldo has perfect technique too, and lots of trickery that Bale lacks. Bale looks like he might get very close though in terms of goal-scoring(in time). He isn't that skilled compared to the very best players, but if he's playing centrally it matters less.
I also think Bale is playing in a poor Spurs team. It is geared around him I suppose, but there is no one there even close to his level. Overall, the Ronaldo comparison makes more sense to me than comparing him to Walcott(as you see our fans do)
If Spurs decides to sell Bale this summer, which I doubt if they manage to get CL football, I am sure every last cent of the proceeds will be re-invested back into the squad. And I am sure they will get two or three very good players with that kind of money.
That realy sucked. I thought for sure they had dropped points when Cole put WHU ahead. Brilliant strike from Bale there in the 90th.
Must win on Sunday.
mething like this for an entire season, he can't really be placed into the same bracket as Ronaldo or whoever he's been compared to over the past few months really.
Besides, ability and attribute wise he can't even touch Ronaldo, let alone match him. He's a great individual player on the ball, where he can just blow by players with his pace and physicality, and his shooting is getting deadlier by the minute, yet he lacks the elite level skill that the very best players have, and doesn't quite have the ability and intelligence to find pockets of space and move between the lines. Put it this way, he's fantastic individually, but lacking in more team oriented attributes.
Besides, as someone said, he's not even the hands down best player in the entire division. Ronaldo back then was streets ahead of pretty much anyone. Fine player, sure, but overrated as hell.
Ronaldo is still overrated for me. He's got all these tricks but people rarely actually fall for them. He isn't a 'close dribbler', but rather a power player.
He scores a disgusting number of goals every season but he rarely shat on the top sides when he was here.
The defending in Spain is embarrassing. Plus his name is Ronaldo - give me a break. That will forever be R9 to me.
He'll have a field day against Wenger's unorganized shambles of a 'defence' next weekend.
How so? Their defense has been very solid this season, one of the best in the league imo.
You can't really defend against him, he's too fast to play a high line against, his shooting from range is too good to sit deep, his free kicks are too good to keep fouling him, what the **** do you do?
Real will definitely bid for him this summer. Especially if the rumours about them looking to sell Ronaldo are true.
,...and yet Sky have the fucking front to display 'next club odds' on the screen WHILE SHOWING LAST NIGHT'S GAME!! Fucking mugs, don't they realise how VALUABLE he is to the Premier League, and therefore to the tv company who OWNS PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL?
If they jizz themselves blind over him leaving, then they'll get to see him once every other week on La Liga, and that's about it!
Careful what you wish for you Sky fuckers!
(oh, and it's Real Madyid, @ Evens btw)
