Ex-Spurs Player Gareth Bale

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sadly, I think you’re both right. He’s probably hoping for one big transfer deal for him and his agent... and needs to stay injury free... hoping that the Euros will boost his chances of getting ‘that’ move.
Yeah, I think we were had on that front. This is more a rehab stint for him than anything else for better or worse.

I think he ends up in LA when his Madrid contract expires. And I'm not sure he'll be very successful there, honestly. MLS is shit technically but if its anything it is very physical and travel intensive.

Can our prick and fraud of a manager keep anything within the club. More shit man management
He was asked about Bale and gave an answer about Bale.

It's not his fault Bale's mental state makes him think every niggle is a tear/strain, it's just the reality of the fact that Bale has had so many injuries his mind has gone as well as his body. He needs to be playing low-intensity football where he can walk around like the MLS.

Prem is too much for him.

He looks to be finished here certainly as long as Jose is manager. I would love to have seen how Poch would have handled him though. He would definitely have got more minutes.

Another player we've got hanging around doing not much on massive wages. We might laugh at Woolwich but we make the same mistakes as they do in that regard.
He's on loan mate. Not sure if all of the details of this loan are known and/or those that have been talked about are true, like we are paying £200k of his £600k wages, but he's not our player and therefore not our problem. He's Real Madrid's problem. Just send him back now or if our agreement doesn't permit this, send him back at the end of the season.

It's really no a major issue. He's not our player.

What really gets me in all this is the bale or dele fans that say Mourinho is at fault, like if that is the case why is moura and lamela who no disrespect to them arnt at the level of those 2 footballing wise, yet are embarrassing both bale and dele footballing wise and in effort and fight in games, even if they play 10 mins of games!.

Mourinho made that comment about bale, so us as fans know its not his decision to leave him out, hes played against Brighton, played shocking and decided that he suddenly needs a scan and cant play the next game lol

I dont for one second believe bale has no confidence, hes a 4 time champions league winner! He knows how good he is, hes basically finished footballing wise or hes saving himself for one last tournament with wales while he picks up doh from both spurs and madrid, im pretty sure he picked up a few hefty brand deals with his move to spurs, hes raking it in..

Here's my take on it.

I believe the contract Spurs have for Bale is heavily weighted towards targets and achievements. XXX per goal, XXX per assist, XXX per appearance. Essentially a pay as you play deal; with likely a very heavy upside (i.e. if he scores and we win the champs league final - 1 million to each bale and madrid)

It is possible, with the loss of income for the club that we simply cannot afford to play him; or maybe never intended to.

We get our marketing and commercial boost, Bale gets paid by Madrid and stays fit for the Euros whilst training with an elite coach. Get's the occasional run out in unimportant games to keep match sharpness.

I have no doubt that Bale will win us 1 or 2 important games towards the end of the season to ensure that for decades to come; the photo of Bale, Son, Kane and Mourinho holding the Cup dominates all of our media campaigns.

We don't have enough talent to be able to afford Jose freezing it out because of whatever reason. I refuse to believe Bale can't contribute at least as much as Lamela or Moura. Jose needs to figure out how to get Bale involved somehow for us. I can't understand not giving him 10 minutes at the end of every game to take all the set pieces at least. It's frustrating to witness.

He's like two or three whole classes of skill above any of our FK takers. Nobody comes close in our whole squad! Can't believe Jose doesn't want to stack the squad with giants and have Bale delivering to them late on.

Why put on bale for ten mins and waste the minutes of others who contribute more?
Hes started games and done f all yet hes suddenly gonna become amazing in the last ten minutes of games 😆

You can't be serious. He looked so much more fresh and fit with short hair without a beard.

So you would then :ledleylick:

Poor comments that grossly breach player/coach confidentiality. I really do not know why Mourinho constantly does this everywhere he goes.
The guy is just a two faced snake. I imagine he acts like he’s your best friend in training then hangs you out to dry in the media. How any player can trust him one iota is beyond me.
For sure, Bale has been poor, but the real reason Mourinho is doing this is to deflect away from the fact that in all likelihood, he’s more than somewhat responsible for Bales poor form.
Fuck me. And Zidane too right? When is Bale going to be responsible like every other player?

Do you know how much he earns to kick a football?

According to Talksport and Clive Allen - Bale was fit to play West Brom on Saturday but didn't get to come on.

He then reported on Monday saying that he could feel a muscle strain coming on and wanted to work with the sports scientists rather than travel to Everton.

I am not in the least bit surprised if Jose is losing patience with him. Imagine having a member of staff phone in sick every other week - it would just wear you down to the point of just planning that they wouldn't be available.

I'm sorry but he's not worked out - he's got to go back to Madrid as unless he sorts his body and mind out, he's not the real Gareth Bale.

The Madrid fans want him gone because he’s injury prone and when fit won’t put a shift in as he thinks he can live on the history of a short lived but glorious resent past. The club [RM] want him gone because he’s a drain on their finances and all of the above. Spurs step in to relieve the Madrid financial burden by less than a third and Gareth minded by the percentage Spurs are paying responds by giving only one third of being injury prone and not putting a shift in; while the Spanish continue to pay for the rest of this totally nonsensical signing.

Daniel Levy has lost the plot.

Would love to see Arry back. He sure knew how to use, value and complement attacking talent.

I completely forgive anything related to the England job, he knew his boss was a cunt so thought why not?

Hopefully Levy doesn't hold grudges. At least not when it could prevent that champions league money.
He knew his boss was a cunt. The same boss that stood squarely behind him through the court case and offered him an increased contract once it was over.
Which Redknapp only wanted to sign once someone else got the England job.

Redknapp has since admitted not doing his job at Spurs properly over that period
Only one person acted like a cunt over that period.
