We've got him wrapped up until the end of the season in the loan part of the deal,use the cash we would have used signing him now, elsewhere.

We're getting him cheaper if we make the deal permanent now. He will be signed in January more than likely.
The reported fee in January is 20 mil. Which seems to be what we want (or as close to) from the Eriksen deal.
Basically go +/-0 on Eriksen and Lo Celso and spend the rest of the money on a striker and possibly a DM.
A no brainer.
He doesnt have Modric's dribbling . But Lo celso next to Ndombele ...if they get going together, it would be like putting Modric next to Dembele.

To be effective they need a good solid defensive midfielder alongside them.
And they both need to show they can do a job in a hard slog of a season. Far from certain.
Does anyone know if Mourinho has historically preferred a 4-3-3 instead of a 4 2 3 1?
Gedson seems cover for two of the three mids in a 4-3-3. Ideally I think Winks is too. Dier is currently our best destroyer, wanyama is a shell of himself.
But to be honest, just a solid destroyer and our midfield is fully stocked for a while.
