Needs better service from midfield. Against top teams he's just not big enough to bully several top/gigantic CBs. He can do plenty of damage though dropping off, picking up the ball and spraying through balls to the wings- something we haven't done much of since mou arrived...

I reckon the 4-1 win over Liverpool at Wembley just over two years ago, in October 2017 was the last time Harry terrorised and bullied the defence of one of the big teams.

Are you picking that game just because he scored?

Because United at home that year he was excellent. Absolutely bullied their back line.

City last year at home in the CL before Delph broke his ankle too was one of his best performances of the season.

Mostly though, our performances against the top clubs dwindled in the latter part of Pochs reign. Predictable play and lack of proper service id say was Kanes biggest problem.

Look at his performances for England where he's provided with excellent service thanks to Sterling, Sancho, Rashford and advanced full backs. And compare that to Spurs at times where we either knock it long or provide nothing from wide.

Our 3rd highest League goal scorer of all time.

It's only when we lose him we will realise just how fantastic he is.
GOAT.

He may (=probably will) become our 2nd highest goalscorer of all time this season.
Bobby Smith's goals to game ratio was phenomenal-Harry's is better.

Wonder what the critics have to say now?

Most of his critics were predicting a tour de force from him today. Games against the likes of Bournemouth, Southampton and Brighton at home are where most of his big performances over the past two years have been. He was exceptional today. I’d be hoping for more of the same when Liverpool come visiting on 11 January.

That 2nd half effort was something to behold.

Goal aside, talk about being inspirational. Like our manager said, he leads by "actions" not words. His critics can go and fook off.
If he's not scoring, he's backtracking, holding up the ball, putting players in space, and running himself to the point of exhaustion.

Tough ask but if Leicester/Vardy's form returns to median and Harry can get Golden Boot again this season he would join a list of only 6 other players of all time who have won it thrice or more.

Spurs players who have been top goalscorer once:
Teddy, Allen, Archibald, Smith.

Don't think he'll get the golden boot this season, just doesn't get the same service he used to but he'll relish in the challenge of trying to overtake Vardy.

I think he'll end up with about 22 or 23 league goals this season which would be a great return. Would also see him overtake Sheringham in the leagues all time top goalscorers list and really closing in on the top 10.

The fact he has what he has now is a testament to his abilities. He has had very little service; almost criminal.
