Ousmame Dembele missed 4 months when he tore his hamstring. Owen and Torres' careers were also ruined by hamstring tears.

One thing about Kane is that he's not particularly pacey like those above so hopefully it won't affect his game as much, but he absolutely should not be rushed back as this is serious.

A "tear" doesn't really tell us much. It could be anything from grade 1 to a grade 3, and the recovery timeline for each is different. It's probably not grade 1, which is the most minor, grade 2 is a partial tear and grade 3 is a full tear.

Grade 2 recovery is 4 to 8 weeks and grade 3 is 3+ months and might require surgery.

Shit, awful news.

Surely the result of playing him for the full 90+ all season, especially on the 22,26,28 Dec and 1st Jan, with full responsibility for captaining the team and leading the attack.

So stupid to not replace or keep Llorente.

I can't see it either.

Parrot should get a game at the weekend against 'boro. Interesting to see how he performs against Champioship defenders.

Not replacing Llorente verged on madness - as we see now.
We saw him against Colchester. He was bright enough, but no Michael Owen waiting to happen in my view. Sadly.

Hugely mismanaged by two managers now. Crazy to play him every game for 90 minutes and crazy a club of our stature we haven't got a recognised back up
What else can a manager do when a top PL club with 61,000 brand new stadium, spent 65m on Ndembele, 30m on Sess and another 15m (or 55m) on Locelso BUT has ONLY ONE striker at his disposal?!

PS. I guess the two managers think Parroott is not good enough yet.

Take the worst scenario. Where is Ben Davies?

It's ridiculous that we dont have an actual specialist striker to replace/rotate with Kane.

Every season Kane misses significant time with injuries, it's just crazy how our only really option is to use Son there

Yeah think it's a grade 2. The way he walked off would be amazed if it was a grade 3. As you say likely 4-8 weeks depending how it responds.

If it was a grade 1 they'd call it a strain and if it was a grade 3 they'd call it a rupture that probably needed surgery, ergo it's probably a grade 2.

Grade 2 is probably based on how he was moving. Grade 1 hed barely notice and be able to play through and he’d have trouble walking on a grade 3

I just hope we can get him fit in time for the Champions League final.

Like has been said many times by players, fans and managers - who wants to come and sit on the bench for every game Kane is fit for?

I would turn up at Norwich with an entourage and take Aarons, Pukki and Cantwell.. leaving behind Kwp and a briefcase full of used £50s.
