Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

On a serious level, has there been any official contact from Spurs or Kane. If he has thrown his toys out of the pram, then fuck him, i love him but fuck him. I think there's more to this. Just doesn't seem like him but what the fuck do i know? Im a Yid now and forever if he goes ill look back with nothing but love, but i wont forgive the fucker for going out like this.

Very disappointing NBA style move. Not winning titles so you "take your talents" to Manchester City. And what does it prove if he goes there and wins? Nothing much because you're going to a team which can finish top four every year just on the strength of their financials. If he had a deal with Levy to be allowed to leave Spurs then it should be honored but not to go to another Premier League team. Let him go anywhere in Europe he wants but not to a major competitor. If they feel like they have to allow Kane to exit it might be in their better interest to allow him to go to a European team for less than they could get from Manchester City. And if he's offered the chance to go to the continent and doesn't want to then he can stay and help Spurs build back. Henry VIII believed in "the divine right of kings" but there's no "divine right of Manchester City" to their choice of the best players under contract to other squads.

If Kane goes to City and wins titles and/of CL's while ending up as the PL top scorer and potentially England top scorer it will mean a lot. His legacy will be as one of the best players ever to play in the PL and greatest England players as well.

The vast majority of football fans will not care that he left Spurs and will look at the trophies and goals.

Worked alright in the Modric case. He's got 3 years on his contract. If City pay what we ask, go have fun. Otherwise get to work.
Kane wants to break Shearer's record but people think he will mope through the season during his prime.

The guy swore on his child's life to snag a goal once. The idea that he wouldn't do everything in his power to score as many goals as possible is laughable.

None of that means that him coming back to us unhappy is a good situation for us. Which is what I was responding to. Just because Modric had a good season after wanting to leave doesn't mean Kane will in a different situation.

I think he should have got anything in writing, but if Levy promised him that he could leave at a certain point in his deal and then backed out on it then it is Levy who is in the wrong.

Yes Kane may have been naive to trust a scumbag like Levy, but perhaps he felt what he had given the club was worth something. If Levy has backed out on that deal then Kane is well within his rights to act how is he is.

This is 100% on Levy. Kane is and has done nothing wrong at all.
Bizarre. He's no-call/no-showed at work. Most people get sacked for that.

Agreement my bare ass. His agreement is his contract. Of course he's done wrong. Pull you head out.

We are not shooting ourselves in the foot at all. We should not be compromising on the price. Not to a team like City. It’s a matter of principle, we need to take them to the cleaners.

If they’re going to end the league before it even starts they are going to have to pay whatever we want.

You said add 5m each day he misses that is shooting ourselves in the foot because it makes the deal unlikely to happen based not on our wishes or valuation of Kane but because of us being upset Kane is not in training.

I agree we should not compromise on the price, within reason, but adding money like that makes no sense.

Most people are not professional athletes, it is no comparable to most people.

And I imagine Kane would love nothing more than to be sacked by Spurs, it would make things much easier for him.

From what I’ve seen, (only media, I’m not claiming any ITK here) he was due to take a Covid test today and start training tomorrow. This could be media BS in the light of pretty weak news worthy or reporting elsewhere. If he is in tomorrow and all blows over then fine. If not he needs to be told no move whatever offer this year. Three years is a lot of contract and player power needs jumping on wherever possible. Such a shame if it goes that way but my only concern is the club. Fuck Citeh and fuck Harry, if that is the case.
If that was the case the club wouldn’t be fining him for not showing up for a COVID test. That’s just Kane’s camp coming up with an excuse as to why he didn’t show up.

Just skimmed through comments.
One big fact is that Sky Sports are cunts and no Spurs supporter should be watching them today.
Apart from that unless I have missed it we do not know a lot. Why after freedom day are we still awaiting Covid testing and surely he needed a test to board the plane home from Holiday. If he failed it then he could not travel and why not say that. If he passed it then why not at the ground.
I am not getting any sympathy for Kane who I have not forgiven for the leaks at the end of last season.
There is no acceptable offer for Kane and nor will there be and the only way he is leaving is on a cut price deal of £100m or a little over with bonuses etc. MC have us over a barrel.
The money raised will in part fund existing transfers including Romero deal. No way is this ending well for us.
If Kane continues to stay away then he will not be picked for England and I back the calls for him to be stripped of the Captaincy. In fact I would strip him of being Captain at Spurs in Lloris's absence.
He has to stay but when will he be back playing is anybody's guess.

Dont get it sorry mate!!
This means I agree with your post and the triangle was the best I could find when looking for an up arrow. I agree 100 per cent. He had my complete backing and whether he stays or leaves I will always love him...but he's being a right soppy twat if he thinks this bullshit endears him to anyone....
I dunno what he wants us to do: we clearly will let him go if we get a bid matching a fair value...just like any other player. It's not our fault he's so fucking good and so fucking valuable so he's created this situation himself and stuck himself in a 3 year left on contract situation.
Levy won't fucking give in if he plays this silly bullshit game and if he does then fuck him.
