If you look at it objectively: is there a better club than Spurs for Campos to come in and ply his trade at?
Putting aside his close relationship with José, we have the best training ground, best stadium, play in the biggest league (something he hasn't done yet) and have a squad littered with some world class talent (Kane, Son) and young players with high potential (Lo Celso, Gedson, Tanganga, Ndombele).
The missing piece is to identify young and affordable transfer targets in a post-covid-19 market to complete/balance the squad. Something his previous quotes indicate he'd relish.
Surely it's the perfect project for him.

Because a DOF looks further ahead than the January transfer window to get a striker in. Our scouting network has been very hit and miss for a while now.
We broke our transfer record last summer.

Probably the only ITK I'd rate is Dan KP from the Evening Standard. Mainly because he was the only one to predict Ndombele, Sess and GLC at the start of the window.

Tbf that’s probably what the club are feeding out to the press as he’s still contracted to Lille and they don’t want any hassle from them. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t end up at Spurs. Way too much smoke from the moment Mourinho was appointed.
If there is truth to it I think it's a great singing
