I think it’s less the jet lag and more that he must be fatigued from the tourney and semi-final defeat. In any case, Ange and he will know best. Gutted he couldn’t lead South Korea to the title, no thanks in large part to Klinsmann’s incompetence, but glad that he’s back without injury.
 
Great our captain is back.... everyone including their squad and now country knows Klinsmann is a joke in terms of a manager but of course a legend outside of managing.

The team were severely hindered from the off under his tutelage....

We can offer him a perfect distraction on the mental and emotional side, he will need to rest physically, so maybe gets 20 odd minutes, knowing him he'd want to be back plus being El' Capitano.

So disappointed for Sonny, but glad to be getting him back. Unfortunately SK were let down by poor tactics and coaching. Hopefully Sonny gets a bit of rest over the next couple of days and can start on the bench at the weekend.
