Dream would be

LB
RB
DM
Backup Striker

Reality will be - whatever scraps are left over on deadline day.

And don't forget the old chestnut of :

"We can't get those top players because we can't offer Champions League Football"

I think there is a real case for a keeper as Gazzaniga is pony and Lloris has been hit and miss for 18 months, at least 1 right back, a left back as Davies shouldnt be a regular, a holding midfielder, a creative no 10 and a striker who can ideally play wide or as a 9. Thats 6 players, going upto 7 with 2 right backs if we sell both Aurier and KWP. That shows how this squad has been left to rot with no succession planning. In regards to the question i think we'll get 4 and be short yet again with a ton of europa matches to play.

Depends how many go. Rose, Foyth, probably Aurier - be surprised if we signed a Foyth replacement, but a RB and maybe Jan replacement + DM. Maybe a punt on a cheap CF backup - 4 if we clear out the surplus, 2 if not.

And as we've been so prudently run over the last 2 decades we're sure to come out of the covid crisis in a much stronger position than everyone else so expect us to be the biggest spenders too. £200 million net, especially with the 175million B.O.E loan magnifecently secured by Levy for strengthening the team.

Title challenge on the horizon

This maybe the levy master plan all along, lure everyone in to thinking spurs are non compliant on spending or ambition, only to come through covid and out the other side as huge spenders ready to challenge every mother fucker....,... Or perhaps not.

Höjbjerg 25m
Right back 15m
Forward 20m

Maybe one more player if we are able to sell Ndombele. Then we might get a decent midfielder in.

Really we are desperate for another
-starting GK for next season to be eased in this year in cups
-starting central defender, realistically we might get a 4th choice but I think Tanganga will be it.
-back up striker/plan b with a strong or quick experienced player ala Llorente/Callum Wilson
-starting left back

Oh well. depends on if we can actually flog some of our underachievers for actual money.

Even if this parody somehow came true we would only end up docked 1000 points for the next 10 years due to a breach of FFP
