Love this 🤣

I've met him once in the early 2000s going round a theme park with his kids. He was unfailingly polite and accommodating, with everyone that kept going up to him.

My dad used to work at the Woolwich ground and knew a lot of the players and said he was an absolute gent.
Yep.

I see him once a year at a Barbeque held originally in memory of Rocastle, organised by his best mate, who I've known for 30yrs or so, who sadly also died a couple of years ago too. Been doing this now for 20 odd years. A lovely, genuine and honest man. He puts on no airs or graces, even though he clearly knows his fame. He's just one of the lads.

I knew Davids aunt from my South London days. I've also met Wrighty as a consequence and never hidden my Spurs colours. He is an absolutely lovely bloke he is exactly what he appears. By far my favourite one of that lot. He is a bit of national treasure really. Not watched the women's tournament it's way too nice out but Sugar is a grade A plonker and always has been.

My best friend is part of his SE London crew when he was a kid. Every year they have a meet-up to remember David Rocastle, I've been going for more than 10yrs now. He's a lovely bloke.

Bottom line is he's not a snide, he loves his team but he ain't a cunt with it, it's this that makes him stand out amongst a sea of cunts. In particular ex-scum, who at every opportunity have a snide dig where it's not required. He is a confident man, doesn't need to resort to petty childish shit to ingratiate himself with the snivelling turds in their fanbase.

Dare I say it but Graham Roberts should take a leaf out of his book. He needs to reign it in at times and have a bit more class. I don't doubt his allegiance in anyway but he lowers himself to petty twitter stuff frequently with plan old rival fans. He doesn't need to be a cheerleader, his place in Spurs is already assured.

Sterling is a dick.
The level of criticism hurled at him was way over and above
His picture accompanied every negative news story for a while, even if he wasn't the subject

Especially if you compare the way the Media treats Sterling compared to Rooney and Terry. Rooney was shagging grannys, having affairs, getting wasted before big games and England tournaments and he was always treated as the great white hope. And lets not even get started on Terry...

Scots suffer more discrimination these days in the UK than black people do.

Muslims suffer more discrimination than any other minority group in the UK.

Discuss.
I don't think I've ever heard of Scots being stopped and searched because they were scottish.
650 Scottish MPs in the Houses of Parliament, there have been 9 Scottish Prime Ministers, I wouldn't say they were doing too badly.

Muslims can be white, black, brown, English, Scottish etc.
The amount of discrimination will be variable according to colour, appearance and where the person is from.

Probably a nice guy, but still an ex gooner cunt.
I don’t rate him at all, even if he does say nice things about us.

Never thought I’d be the lone voice arguing against Ian Wright on a spurs forum.

I always found his punditry added nothing to the occasion (like most of the pundits)

Sterling & Dele are nice quiet lads who have been treated as though they are worse than Wilshere, Terry or even bloody Lee Bowyer.

It's the blackness x lower class roots 100%. Would have to be majorly dense to not see it.

That there's a big difference with comparing the media's reaction to Theo Walcott to Raheem sterling as even though they are both black ( well Walcott is just as much white but whatever) they come from totally different backgrounds and that plays a part in how they are judged and perceived by the media and some of the general public imo.

How do you explain the universal media love in of Anthony Joshua or Mo Farrah then ?
