My predictions for how the 3-9 positions will play out over the rest of the season

Spurs 1-1 Leicester
Sheffield 1-1 Everton
Wolves 2-1 Palace
Villa 1-2 Woolwich
United 3-0 West Ham
Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea

Woolwich 2-1 Watford
Chelsea 2-0 Wolves
Palace 1-3 Spurs
Leicester 1-2 United
Southampton 0-1 Sheffield

Which leaves the ladder looking like

3. Man United (32 GD, 68 pts)
4. Chelsea (16 GD, 59 pts)
5. Leicester (30 GD, 63 pts)
6. Spurs (13 GD, 59 pts)
7. Woolwich (10 GD, 59 pts)
8. Wolves (10 GD, 59 pts)
9. Sheffield (4 GD, 58 pts)

If Utd get in the CL it is about 99.9% certain they will bid for Kane, and with the current situations and lost revenue I wouldn’t rule out Levy thinking...umm🤔

I've been saying that all along. I obviously can't stand the Chavs and I don't like Leicester either, but we'd be best served by the two of them making Top 4. Neither of those two have every raided for our players and won't be doing to this summer either. Man U have plenty of form in that regard and every chance they'll be sniffing around for Harry if they have the carrot of European Cup football to dangle.

I reckon OGS thinks Rashford, Martial and Greenwood are better for him than Kane.

I am not worried about Kane leaving for Man Utd.

Or anyone in England for that matter. City, perhaps. But not this summer.
The only thing that saves us this summer is the window that I’m not sure anyone knows what way it will work to be honest...but I think Kane is already 50% checked out of Spurs and will be feeling around other clubs for sure...

That tells me, and with his love for the club, that he's here next season.

And it'll likely be his last unless there's a change.

I’m pretty sure Kane is 50/50 right now, yes he’s probably prepared to give it one more season, but my point was Levy, and by that I mean the current financial climate and well it’s Levy, a 150+ offer and all bets are off...

5th Europa League
League Cup winners - Europa League - so as it was Man City it will go back to league.
6th Europa League
FA Cup winners - Europa League - Chelsea, Man U, Man City and Woolwich still in FA Cup.
Anyone but Woolwich and the Europa league place goes to 7th.
As long as Woolwich don't win FA Cup, then Europa league place in 7th position up for grabs.

And it'll go to 8th if Wolves win the Europa League.

Woolwich are 2-0 up on Manchester City in the FA Cup semi final. Maybe you’d better work that into your matrix because there’s nothing surer than those fuckers will win a 4th FA Cup in 6 years and take a European slot.

Pretty sobering thought that what was supposedly our first golden era since the 60’s yielded the grand total of 0 trophies and they’ve managed to win 3 FA Cups and maybe a 4th during that timeframe, when they were a shambles.

United and Chelsea will have a lot more motivation to win the final if Woolwich is able to hold on against City (which is still a big if) and not a chance that Woolwich can beat a motivated United or Chelsea. They got lucky today playing a City team that put in zero effort and they still needed a lot of luck to get by in that game.

I did not live through 1971 and I have zero concern that Woolwich will win the FA Cup this year.

Despite what the media will tell you they were awful today. They win because City didn’t care and luck. United/Chelsea will care and will easily beat them in the final.

I hope you are right but I expected MC to win today. Have not watched match and cannot understand why they did not care.

They have won how many trophies in the last 5 years and just easily beat this Woolwich team 3-0 a few weeks ago. They came out like it was going to be easy and dominated Woolwich, it was really bad luck and a lack of urgency that cost them today.

Woolwich did nothing impressive today, they did not defend well, they were not set up to repel City effectively in any way. Maybe if they had shown something there would be concern but they have been poor since the restart and have won their past two games by luck getting badly outplayed in both. There is absolutely nothing in their team, play or tactics to indicate that they can beat either United or Chelsea. Just like they did against City and Liverpool they will need to rely on their opponents to come out flat and disinterested and get a ton of luck as well.
