His team was but not him yet.
Odobert out till Xmas. Won’t be able to sell him.Think the one positive of this 'sign em young' approach is it will be easier to find a market for these guys if we do decide to sell.
None will be on big wages and as they're still young, plenty of clubs will be interested.
Reckon we could get our money back (or close enough) for Dragusin and Odobert. Probably can instantly double or triple our money on Takai after half a season of Bundesliga football if he keeps playing. Gray and Tel might be a bit trickier as we paid decent money for them both but I reckon we could find buyers and get a reasonable fee for either if we did decide to move them on.
Meanwhile players like Bergvall (if he can stay fit) and Vuskovic are already worth multitudes of what we paid for em. Would prefer not to sell either, mind.
From a purely business perspective I can see how Levy and the club were drawn to this more Chelsea-like model. With the low wages involved there's far less risk in signing kids. Problem is, we've not signed enough quality first teamers to properly compete while the kids are still developing.
He’s not played a single minute this season
Please be realistic with expectations. An already very injured player, one who's older, and relies on agility.
Lol, asked a genuine question and you sound like I'm slating him for not coming back earlier. I'm just lost of the time frame he's out injured for, and with some other players TBF, and was hoping for some kind posters who could have kept track of his recovery to post a useful update. Please be realistic with expectations. I'm definitely not expecting much.
Typically ACL injuries are around 9 months. That’s the end of April. Whilst the club have put no timeline on it, injury tracking sites don’t have him returning before the end of the season.Lol, asked a genuine question and you sound like I'm slating him for not coming back earlier. I would laugh, but I fear you're rightImpossible to do both injury rehab and commercial shoots, imagine he'll be out another year now.
And a month to build match fitness. He’ll get fit just in time for his holidays. Please be realistic with expectations. An already very injured player, one who's older, and relies on agility.

....April 2027?

Always a silver liningWouldn't surprise me if we never see him or Kulu in a Spurs shirt again.

I mean, even if he's "back" in April, it's not going to be a massive help. He's not just going in and playing 90 mins every game. We likely don't get one 90 min appearance.Lol, asked a genuine question and you sound like I'm slating him for not coming back earlier. Look...Simons has had long enough to show what he has.... and it's fuk all.... he wouldn't get in Arseoles team so why do we want him....Those saying we need to replace Maddison, I think Simons is meant to be that guy.
