It's probably the fastest turnaround from 'he's a cunt' to 'I would die for him' of any signing I've seen us make. To be fair, he did come across a wee bit dickish in years gone by (and because he'd usually be good against us) but it's obvious he's matured and has a strong presence in the dressing room - being made vice captain immediately shows that.
Gio hasn't played a PL game for 1.5 years and didn't get a single minute yet this season. I'm sure the club are looking for someone better than him.

Nah Brentford are setup to transition, Bournemouth playing a high press with their new manager, they won't sit back and frustrate us.

If you had listened to his interviews when he was at Lessester, you would realize that he is a well spoken and positive guy with a wonderful personality.
