It's probably the fastest turnaround from 'he's a cunt' to 'I would die for him' of any signing I've seen us make. To be fair, he did come across a wee bit dickish in years gone by (and because he'd usually be good against us) but it's obvious he's matured and has a strong presence in the dressing room - being made vice captain immediately shows that.Maddison has been brilliant so far.
His performances have been outstanding but what’s more his leadership has been something I didn’t expect. Had a feeling he was a selfish little prick and it seems that was so far from the truth.
Add to that he actually contributes defensively which I didn’t expect. I was excited by him signing because of the traits we all knew he had and add in the leadership and defensive skills and effort he puts in and I am over the fucking moon!
If he does miss some games it will be a huge loss and only mitigated by Ange and the group mentality.
Fantastic signing
hopefully but that comes 4th in the list of priorities.Gio hasn't played a PL game for 1.5 years and didn't get a single minute yet this season. I'm sure the club are looking for someone better than him.

Bournemouth is a harder game than the first two in my eyes. Tough place to go.I meant starting one of them wide in addition to starting Gio.
But agree it will likely be just Gio in.
Should still be enough for B'Mouth.

Madders will be fit though but Lo Celso has to be his replacement rather than Skipp.
I hope it’s a comfortable game but history tells me it won’t be. Teams don’t get it easy there.Nah Brentford are setup to transition, Bournemouth playing a high press with their new manager, they won't sit back and frustrate us.

It's tough but it's not tougher than Brentford away.B'muff away will be comfortable for nobody this year.
They will press like maniacs and really go at teams. They are big, physical, aggressive and now with Scott they have some skill and Adams brings them intelligence and leadership.
Would be over the moon with 3 points away but think it will be a tougher game than Brentford away.
Spurs B team away from home is a horrible combination, basically equivalent to a League 1 team from what I've witnessed over the years. When you’re as bad as we are away from home, every game is tough.
I will never forget what I saw against Sheffield United last season.
My eyes told me Sonny was very productive yesterday and had a very good match .
We’re so used to seeing him score worldies that we don’t rate him when he has very good games.
If you had listened to his interviews when he was at Lessester, you would realize that he is a well spoken and positive guy with a wonderful personality. People were just focusing on one single incident over 10 years ago and made up their mind based on that alone. Considering the knee-jerk, uninformed stuff a lot of people post I can't say I am surprised. It's probably the fastest turnaround from 'he's a cunt' to 'I would die for him' of any signing I've seen us make.
