In other news, Trevor Sinclair landed himself in a bit of bother by referring to Liverpool fans as "bin dippers" on his Twitter account.
New DM this window would be the biggest one I'd go for. I'd stretch out the need for full backs, CBs and potentially a new GK until the summer + following window if money doesn't allow for all to be signed at once.
January window - DM & Lo Celso turned perm.
Summer Window - CB & RB, possibly LB if Sessegnon can't have a role long term
Summer window 2021 - GK
I think that's fair based on our finances and how we structure our transfer policies. Sign one of Toby or Jan up to add CB depth and honestly I'd be fine with that although I'm hopin we won't need a LB and Sess can make the grade there in time.
Again. He looks much better than he is, because he's in a team that works very well atm. There are probably around 10 other Liverpool players I'd rather have.
If we had played Fabinho instead of Winks last night, it would have changed absolutely nothing.

Right back is an area of concern unless he turns foyth into one properly and obviously centre half.

Another way of looking at it would be that Liverpool can function the way they can, and their FB’s can do what they do, because they have a player like Fabinho who’s so good at doing his job well.
I'll claim they already played like this before Fabinho got up to speed and it was Wijnaldum killing it as the holding midfielder
But they weren’t winning CL’s and PL’s then, or racking up record points totals then were they?
They started last season without him, and they only finished second because City had an okay season
Not really a DM, Leiva's the DM, Milinkovioc Savic is more a hard working 8
And I've never been all that impressed. Ndombele is a better player.

We need a central defensive midfielder. The desperate cries for a RB have swung to CM now.
To be fair to Levy, he has given it a go - that's a lot of money to spend on central midfielders for us;
Sissoko £30m~
Ndombele £54m~
Lo Celso £50m~ (potentially)
I think it must be down to the scouting teams and manager to decide on shortlists of players, and sign off on them. Got to lay the blame with recruitment over Levy in this regard.
All the Poch targets I have read about don't seem to include a proper DM. Dybala or Fernandes were supposed to be his cherry on the cake for a title challenge.
I like the look of Sandro Tonali.. or Lewis Cook if he could stay fit.
But suppose what we really want is someone like Makelele, Essien or Kante.
Will end up with Matic.
