And 12 the season before. For Brentford. Both are a pretty good achievement. 31 in 45 in the championship too. So he’s hardly a one season wonder. £70m for an in your prime PL striker is probably the market. He’s better than Watkins who would probably cost even more.

But he’ll probably go to the scum or Chelsea or even back to Newcastle. He guarantees all types of goals.

Don’t want Toney, Watkins or fucking Vlahovic…

If we really have to get a #9 surely there is a more creative bit of scouting to be done out there.

Forget the championship, Son has reached double figures every season bar is first season and scored over 20 goals 4 times. We are looking for someone who can do as well or better and as the right mentally, Toney is not that guy.

If we are seriously believing the club would splash 70-80m I’d prefer we looked at Sesko.

But I don’t believe we will and for the <40m they’d want to spend it’s probably got to be Gimenez from Feyenoord

I am not saying he is but ruling him out completely would be foolish. But I think he’ll go elsewhere in london.

Son is a 9 for Ange. We have the right number of CFs right now imo. You can’t rotate 3 to keep them happy.

Son is a gift because he can play LW as well.

It's not foolish to rule him out when he costs more than 70m.

Who would you sign to guarantee 20 goals? How do you know he’s demanding an end to his contract? What the f does that even mean?

The striker market is dead, the best player is Oshimen but he's well out of our price range, so the next best things are players like Vlahovic.

Anyway u always liked the idea of signing a versatile player who can play in multiple positions up top, instead of a specialist.

I bought into the Daka hype as well , fast and was scoring loads , granted I only watched a few you tube clips!
 
Strikers are really difficult even at the top spenders. Man u spent 70m on a player who hadn't scored many goals. RM have moved a midfielder up top.
